Whether reflecting the endless blue sky or the glistening sands, these watches capture the spirit of summer and are designed to accompany wearers not only during vacations but throughout the entire year.
The screw-down crown and its winding mechanism are safeguarded by an angular crown guard. The case back, composed of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, is securely screwed down to ensure water resistance. Despite their durability and ability to withstand water pressure up to 200 meters, the Ahoi Sky and Sand models maintain an elegant and well-proportioned design. With a slim profile of only 9.9 millimetres, these watches sit comfortably on the wrist and effortlessly slide beneath cuffs. Furthermore, their timeless diameter of 38.5 millimetres offers an ideal fit for nearly any wrist size.
Both of these new releases boast exceptional readability, courtesy of a dual-sided anti-reflective coating on their sapphire crystals. The generous numerals and distinct colour contrast on the sand-coloured and sky-blue variants of the Ahoi models ensure easy timekeeping. Positioned at three o’clock, the date window provides a clear reference for planning the next vacation. In low-light conditions, the luminescent superluminova ensures that the time remains legible.
Introduced in 2013, the Ahoi collection from NOMOS Glashütte initially featured models in white and Atlantic blue. Now, with the timeless diameter of 38.5 millimetres and the incorporation of the new date calibre DUW 6101, these NOMOS timepieces have undergone a complete transformation.
