FUJIFILM Corporation has officially announced the FUJIFILM GFX100RF (GFX100RF), the latest addition to its renowned GFX Series, launching globally in April 2025.
This revolutionary camera introduces a fixed-lens design, a first for the GFX lineup while maintaining the large-format sensor that Fujifilm is known for—approximately 1.7 times larger than a traditional 35mm full-frame sensor.
Despite its high-resolution 102MP GFX 102MP CMOS II sensor and X-Processor 5 image processing engine, Fujifilm has successfully engineered the GFX100RF to be the lightest model in the GFX Series, weighing just 735g (including battery and memory card).
By rethinking the lens and body design, the GFX100RF provides users with an unparalleled large-format shooting experience in a compact and portable form factor.

The GFX100RF brings an innovative fixed-lens approach to the GFX series, featuring a newly developed 35mm F4 lens (equivalent to 28mm in 35mm format). The lens was specifically designed for this model, optimizing size, weight, and optical performance.

One of the standout features of the GFX100RF is its new “Aspect Ratio Dial”, an industry-first addition that allows users to seamlessly switch between nine aspect ratios inspired by Fujifilm’s film and analogue camera heritage. For the first time in Fujifilm’s digital camera history, the GFX100RF’s top plate has been precision-machined from aluminium. The integrated 35mm F4 lens was designed using a leaf shutter system, allowing for a shorter back focus distance and enabling a more compact camera body. Additionally, the GFX100RF’s newly developed Nano-GI coating improves light reflection control, particularly in the peripheral areas of the lens, ensuring high-resolution image quality with reduced spherical aberration and field curvature.
