Logitech is bringing more artificial intelligence to the conference room with the launch of the Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro, two new video conferencing cameras designed for larger and more complex meeting spaces.
Announced on September 16, 2026, the new cameras combine automated video framing with large-room coverage and workplace analytics, while keeping the hardware as unobtrusive as possible. The Rally AI Camera can even be installed within a wall — a first for Logitech — allowing it to blend more discreetly into meeting-room interiors.
The more advanced Rally AI Camera Pro, meanwhile, adds a second optical camera and up to 15x hybrid zoom for capturing presenters and details across larger spaces.
AI Decides Who Should Be in the Frame
Central to both cameras is Logitech’s RightSight 2 technology, which uses AI to automatically adjust the video presentation as a meeting unfolds.
Rather than providing one static wide-angle shot of the room, the cameras can frame the entire group, focus on an individual speaker or arrange participants into a grid. The idea is to give remote participants a clearer view of whoever is speaking without requiring someone in the room to operate the camera manually.
Multiple Rally AI Cameras can also work together in compatible meeting environments. Logitech says the cameras support setups including Zoom Intelligent Director and Microsoft Teams multiple camera view, enabling different perspectives of a boardroom, classroom or town hall to be presented dynamically during a call.
Big Sensor, Wide View
Both models feature a custom-designed lens paired with a 1-inch imaging sensor and a 115-degree field of view.
The larger sensor is intended to provide clearer images in challenging lighting while giving the camera enough resolution and coverage to move between wide room views and tighter shots of individual participants.
The Rally AI Camera Pro goes further with an additional optical camera offering 15x hybrid zoom. This is particularly aimed at large meeting spaces, where a presenter or important detail may be positioned considerably farther away from the camera.
Logitech has also designed the cameras to work without dominating the room visually. Installation options include the ceiling, wall and television display, while the standard Rally AI Camera can additionally be mounted within the wall itself.
An automatic privacy shutter provides a visible indication when the camera is not operating.
Cameras That Can Also Understand Room Usage
The AI capabilities extend beyond video calls. Rally AI Cameras can detect how many people are using a meeting room and how frequently the space is occupied.
That information can be fed into Logitech Sync, giving workplace and facilities teams data that can help them understand how office spaces are actually being used.
The same people-detection technology can also assist with meeting-room scheduling. Rooms can be automatically booked or released based on occupancy, potentially reducing situations where a room remains reserved despite nobody turning up.
For organisations reconsidering how much office and meeting space they need in a hybrid-working environment, this effectively turns the camera into both a conferencing device and a source of workplace utilisation data.
Designed to Make IT Management Easier
Logitech has also focused on simplifying installation and remote management.
The cameras can connect through USB, while an optional Rally AI Camera Extension Kit enables installation using a single category cable. They can be paired with Logitech’s Rally Plus or integrated with professional conference-room audio systems.
Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity allow the cameras to connect to Logitech Sync, where IT administrators can remotely deploy devices, install updates and troubleshoot problems without having to physically visit every meeting room.
Logitech says the cameras also incorporate low-carbon aluminium, while their paper packaging comes from FSC-certified forests and other controlled sources as part of the company’s efforts to reduce their environmental impact.
Built for the Hybrid Meeting Room
The Rally AI Camera range reflects a broader shift in conference-room technology from simply capturing everyone in the room towards automatically interpreting what is happening within it.
By combining speaker and group framing, multiple camera perspectives, occupancy detection and remote device management, Logitech is positioning the cameras as part of the infrastructure of the hybrid workplace rather than simply another webcam.
The Logitech Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro are available in graphite and off-white from September 2026 through authorised resellers.
