LG Electronics (LG), a market innovator in consumer electronics, recently added its next-generation UltraGear gaming monitors to the brand’s impressive lineup of gaming monitors. In addition to the 32-inch UltraGear Nano IPS game monitor (model 32GQ950), which is LG’s first 4K Nano IPS gaming model with Advanced True Wide Polariser technology, the launch welcomes LG’s first 48-inch UltraGear OLED gaming monitor (model 48GQ900).
The UltraGear models (48GQ900 and 32GQ950), an ode to a new design identity, feature a sleek aesthetic with a strong, angular stand and the modern Hexagon Lighting. The UltraGear gaming monitors are equipped with a brand-new design language, cutting-edge display technology, and a wide range of gaming and connectivity features to meet all of your gaming needs.
Titan of an OLED Gaming Monitor: 48GQ900
The self-emissive 4K display, which won Red Dot and iF Design Awards, has a 120Hz refresh rate that can be overclocked to 138Hz and a 0.1-millisecond Grey-to-Grey (GTG) response time that provides flawless performance at lightning speed, which is essential while playing first-person shooter games.
The OLED panel provides precise pixel-level controls, a 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and infinite contrast to produce perfect blacks, amazingly realistic colours, and immersive viewing experiences for every game. Additionally, the LG UltraGear 48GQ900 has a low anti-glare reflection (AGLR) coating that minimizes visual interruptions so that users can concentrate solely on the games.
One-of-a-Kind Flagship Gaming Display: 32GQ950
The 32GQ950 improves contrast ratio and colour coverage to give lifelike hues and deep blacks across a broad viewing angle as the first LG 4K Nano IPS gaming model with Advanced True Wide Polariser technology. For fun and fluid gameplay, the UltraGear model delivers a 144Hz refresh rate (which can be overclocked to 160Hz) and a 1ms GTG reaction time. The stand can rotate, tilt up to 15 degrees, and allow for height adjustments up to 110 millimetres for gamers that appreciate comfort and versatility
The monitors feature a four-pole headphone jack that enables gamers to connect a headset and communicate while they play using the superior surround sound of DTS Headphone: X®, which reproduces audio with astounding clarity. Additionally, both monitors have HDMI 2.1 ports, which enable functions like variable refresh rate and support for 4K gaming on PCs and the newest consoles.
“LG UltraGear™ gaming monitors strive to exceed users’ expectations with the application of the latest technologies and designs in the gaming display category,” said Mr Lee Chang-ha, Home Entertainment Product Director of LG Electronics Singapore. “The new models offer cutting-edge features and capabilities that enhance gaming experiences. On this front, we will continue solidifying the brand’s reputation with innovative products that prioritises the needs of gamers.”
The LG UltraGear™ gaming monitor 48GQ900 will be officially launched on November 1 at a recommended retail price of S$2,299, with the 32GQ950 following suit on November 14 at S$1,699.
