Razer has unveiled the latest version of its flagship gaming laptop, the Razer Blade 18, pushing the boundaries of what a portable machine can achieve. Designed for both hardcore gamers and AI developers, the new Blade 18 delivers desktop-class performance in a sleek laptop form factor, combining cutting-edge hardware, advanced AI capabilities, and an upgraded display built for demanding workloads.
Built for Gaming, Creation, and AI Development
At the core of the new Blade 18 is the powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor, featuring 24 cores and a boost speed of up to 5.5 GHz. Complementing the CPU is support for up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, powered by NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture and equipped with 24GB of VRAM. Together, the combination is designed to handle everything from AAA gaming and real-time rendering to local AI model inference and large-scale code compilation.

The laptop also features an integrated NPU capable of delivering up to 13 TOPS of AI acceleration. In comparison, the RTX 5090 contributes an impressive 1,824 AI TOPS, enabling developers and creators to run sophisticated AI workloads locally with reduced reliance on cloud services.
Faster AI Workflows and Real-World Performance
Razer positions the Blade 18 as more than just a gaming machine. The system is optimised for emerging AI workflows, allowing users to run large language models, generate AI-powered content, and develop machine learning applications directly on the device.

According to Razer, the Blade 18 delivers up to 37% faster local LLM inference performance, reaching speeds of up to 162 tokens per second in supported AI models. Image generation performance is also significantly improved, with the laptop achieving up to 2.2 times faster AI image creation compared to competing laptop platforms.
These enhancements translate into faster iteration cycles for developers and content creators, enabling more efficient experimentation, rendering, and content production without compromising gaming performance.
Advanced Cooling for Sustained Performance
To keep the powerful hardware running at peak efficiency, Razer has equipped the Blade 18 with an advanced vapour chamber cooling system paired with a refined multi-fan design. The thermal solution is engineered to maintain high performance during extended gaming sessions, AI processing, video rendering, and other intensive tasks.

The integrated NPU further improves power efficiency by intelligently handling AI-specific workloads, helping distribute tasks between the CPU, GPU, and dedicated AI hardware.
Upgraded Dual-Mode 18-Inch Display
The Blade 18 continues to feature Razer’s unique dual-mode display technology, now enhanced with greater brightness and improved visual performance.

Users can instantly switch between:
● UHD+ resolution at 240Hz for content creation, productivity, and immersive visual experiences.
● FHD+ resolution at 440Hz for ultra-responsive competitive gaming.
The display also offers full DCI-P3 colour coverage and up to 20% higher brightness, providing vibrant colours and sharp detail across a wide range of applications.
Comprehensive Connectivity and Immersive Audio
Designed as a true desktop replacement, the Blade 18 comes equipped with an extensive selection of connectivity options, including Thunderbolt 5, Wi-Fi 7, HDMI 2.1, 2.5Gb Ethernet, a UHS-II SD card reader, and USB-C charging support of up to 100W.

Audio has also received an upgrade, featuring a six-speaker system powered by the latest THX Spatial Audio+ technology.
The system delivers immersive virtual 7.1.4 surround sound through compatible headphones and enhanced spatial audio through the laptop’s speakers for gaming, movies, and music.
For communication and content creation, the Blade 18 includes a 5MP IR webcam with Windows Hello support and a built-in privacy shutter.
Premium Design with a Sustainable Approach
Like previous Blade models, the new Blade 18 is precision-crafted from a single block of aluminium, creating a rigid unibody chassis that combines durability with a premium aesthetic. The laptop features a sandblasted finish and anodised coating for added resilience.

Razer has also continued its sustainability efforts by incorporating recycled aluminium into the chassis and redesigning packaging to reduce plastic usage while maintaining a premium unboxing experience.
Backed by Razer’s industry-leading two-year battery warranty and award-winning customer support, the Blade 18 stands as the company’s most powerful laptop yet, bringing together elite gaming performance, professional-grade content creation capabilities, and next-generation AI development tools in a single portable powerhouse.
The Blade 18 is currently retailing from S$4,999 at Razer’s online store or selected retailers.
