Frederique Constant has made a lasting impression at this year’s Geneva Watch Days, unveiling a collection of meticulously crafted timepieces from its beloved Classics line. The spotlight this year is on two extraordinary limited-edition models, the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture and the Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture, as well as three new versions of the Classics Carrée Small Seconds. These releases capture the essence of timeless elegance while showcasing Frederique Constant’s dedication to fine watchmaking and innovation.
Classic Tourbillon Manufacture
At the heart of this watch is the FC-980-4 calibre, an automatic movement with hand-bevelled chamfers, beading on the bridges, and a stunning mirror polish.
The silicon escapement offers enhanced precision and reliability, ensuring consistent performance over time. One of the most striking features is the Heart Beat opening at 6 o’clock, revealing the escapement mechanism, a signature design element for Frederique Constant for the past 30 years.
The Classic Tourbillon Manufacture in aventurine dial is available in only a limited number of 36 pieces.
Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture
Another highlight of Frederique Constant’s Geneva showcase is the Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture, a 36-piece limited edition that marries elegance and functionality. This model debuts a stunning malachite dial, a first for the brand. Known for its vivid green streaks that range from light to deep tones, malachite delivers a fresh take on the green-dial trend, symbolizing renewal and vibrancy.
The moon phase and date complications are beautifully integrated into a single sub-dial at 6 o’clock, where a silver-finished hand elegantly tracks the date while the moon phase indicator shines against a starry sky.
The white gold case and refined finishes, including the fan-like côtes de Genève stripes, further elevate this watch’s aesthetic appeal.
Driven by the in-house FC-716 calibre, the 40mm case delivers precision and finesse, offering collectors an exquisite timepiece with remarkable attention to detail.
Classics Carrée Small Seconds
Frederique Constant also brings a modern twist to its Classics Carrée Small Seconds line with three new models, each paying homage to the bold geometric designs of the Art Deco era.
This rectangular style, popularized in the 1920s and 30s, returns with strikingly modern updates.
For the Gala Enthusiast: The first version features a steel case adorned with 158 diamonds, totalling 1.185 carats.
The sparkling silver opaline dial and calfskin strap complete the look, making it the perfect accessory for a luxurious evening.
For Urban Sophistication: The second variant is crafted entirely from steel, including the bracelet.
Its seven-link construction ensures a comfortable and flexible fit, ideal for daily wear in a vibrant, fast-paced city environment.
For Classic Simplicity: The third version combines the best of both worlds, offering a steel case with a classic calfskin strap.
Retaining vintage flair with modern simplicity, this version is versatile, making it perfect for any occasion.
Frederique Constant’s new releases at Geneva Watch Days underline the brand’s commitment to blending tradition with modernity.
