Hong Kong Electronics Fairs to Showcase Cutting-Edge Technologies This October

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will host two major electronics exhibitions from 13 to 16 October at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), bringing together the latest developments in consumer electronics, smart products, electronic components and innovative technology solutions.

The Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) and electronicAsia will once again serve as major meeting points for industry professionals, buyers and technology companies from around the world, offering a closer look at emerging technologies and solutions shaping the future of various industries.

Now in its 46th edition, the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) will bring together more than 3,200 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions. The fair will showcase a broad range of new products and technologies, with this year’s programme placing particular emphasis on three key themes: AI and Robotics, Smart Wellness and NEXTEntertainment.

AI and Robotics Take Centre Stage
More than 120 robots will be showcased at the fair, highlighting the latest developments and applications in artificial intelligence, robotics and intelligent automation.

A dedicated “RoboPark” zone will feature the majority of the robotic solutions, with live demonstrations and different application scenarios showing how robotics are increasingly being integrated into industrial manufacturing, commercial services and everyday life.

The demonstrations will offer a look at how AI and robotics are driving industrial transformation while changing the way people work and interact with technology.

Smart Wellness
The Smart Wellness theme will focus on the growing role of technology in health management and personal wellbeing.

Visitors will be able to explore digital health devices, smart wearables, personal care technologies, elderly-care solutions and other wellness-focused electronic products designed to support healthier lifestyles and improve quality of life.

NEXTEntertainment
The NEXTEntertainment theme will explore the future of digital entertainment through immersive, interactive and intelligent experiences.

Featured technologies will include extended reality (XR), smart gaming devices, digital content creation tools, entertainment solutions and other innovative consumer electronics. The focus will be on technologies that can enhance entertainment experiences while giving creators new tools for producing digital content.

New Zones Highlight Emerging Technologies and Businesses
The Hong Kong Electronics Fair will also feature a range of dedicated zones designed to help international buyers discover new products, technologies and business opportunities.

The Hall of Fame will bring together electronic products from renowned global brands. The fair will also continue to feature RISE Avenue, which highlights emerging brands and innovative products.

Making its debut this year is the Future Industries Zone, organised by the HKTDC and the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association, with support from the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau (ITIB) of the Hong Kong SAR Government.

The new zone will showcase innovations across five key areas: Future Computing, Future Manufacturing, Future Marine & Quantum Technologies, Future Microelectronics and Future Wellness.

Industry leaders including Lenovo, AV Concept and GP Energy Tech will be among the participants, alongside more than 100 exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions.

The Startup Zone will provide a platform for promising startups and emerging ideas. A curated programme of startup events will also be held to encourage connections, collaboration and business growth.

Another new addition is the GoGlobal Connect Zone, which will bring together professional service providers offering one-stop, on-site support for companies looking to expand internationally. The zone aims to help businesses explore overseas markets, identify opportunities for growth and accelerate their global development.

electronicAsia Focuses on Components and Solutions
Held concurrently with the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition), electronicAsia will focus on electronic components, parts and related solutions.

Together, the two exhibitions will provide buyers and industry professionals with opportunities to explore products and technologies across different parts of the electronics ecosystem, from finished consumer products and smart devices to components and supporting technologies.

Beyond the exhibition floor, a series of forums, conferences and seminars will be held throughout the fairs. Industry experts will share insights into the latest market trends, technological developments and opportunities, while the events will also provide networking opportunities for professionals across the electronics sector.

Startups will also have the opportunity to present their innovative ideas, connect with potential investors and receive advice from industry experts to support their business growth and development.
