GIGABYTE has announced the availability of its new AORUS GeForce RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 INFINITY Series graphics cards, bringing together high-end performance, advanced cooling and a cleaner approach to PC building. Designed for enthusiasts who want both power and aesthetics, the lineup features GIGABYTE’s WINDFORCE HYPERBURST cooling system, patented Hawk fans and an intelligent Overdrive Fan for improved thermal management.
At the heart of the INFINITY Series is the WINDFORCE HYPERBURST cooling system, which uses a double flow-through design to create a more direct path for air to pass through the graphics card. Air can flow through both sides of the backplate, helping move heat away from the GPU more efficiently. The system is paired with GIGABYTE’s patented Hawk fans, which deliver up to 53.6% higher air pressure and up to 12.5% greater airflow compared with previous designs.
For demanding gaming and intensive workloads, an intelligent Overdrive Fan positioned at the centre of the graphics card automatically kicks in when additional cooling is required. This extra airflow helps maintain stable temperatures and sustain performance during extended sessions, while the overall cooling design is engineered to keep noise levels under control.
The INFINITY Series also puts a greater emphasis on cable management. Its power connector has been moved to the rear of the graphics card, allowing cables to be routed more discreetly behind the PC chassis. A magnetic cover plate hides the connector when installed, creating a cleaner and more minimalist appearance that works particularly well with modern showcase builds.
Lighting is another key part of the design. GIGABYTE’s signature RGB Halo and outer light ring provide customizable illumination, with users able to adjust lighting effects or synchronise them with other compatible components. This gives builders more flexibility to match the graphics card with the overall look of their system.
Adding a distinctive twist to the lineup is the AORUS GeForce RTX 5080 INFINITY WOOD. Designed to complement GIGABYTE’s WOOD-themed motherboards, the graphics card incorporates wood-grain-inspired elements and premium finishes. The combination of natural textures and high-performance hardware offers an alternative for enthusiasts looking to create a more sophisticated, nature-inspired PC setup.
