TAG Heuer Brings Racing Spirit to Life With New Formula 1 38mm Solargraph Pastel Collection

TAG Heuer has unveiled a vibrant new pastel collection for its TAG Heuer Formula 1 38mm Solargraph lineup, blending the brand’s motorsport heritage with softer contemporary colours and solar-powered technology.

Introduced in Switzerland on 21 April 2026, the collection continues TAG Heuer’s long-standing connection to racing culture while reinterpreting the iconic Formula 1 series through a more playful and expressive visual identity.

The TAG Heuer Formula 1 collection first debuted in 1986 and quickly became known for its bold colours, sporty design language and youthful energy.

It was also the first watch collection to carry the TAG Heuer name, establishing itself as a symbol of individuality and performance closely tied to the world of Formula 1 racing.

Building on that heritage, the new pastel series introduces softer tones inspired by optimism, clarity and self-expression while retaining the recognisable Formula 1 design DNA.

The collection includes several colour variations, such as pastel beige, pastel pink, pastel blue, pastel green, and lavender blue. The pastel beige edition is limited to 3,500 pieces, while the pastel pink and pastel blue models are limited to 2,500 and 3,000 pieces, respectively.

TAG Heuer has also introduced more refined steel bracelet versions featuring diamond-set indexes. The pastel green edition is limited to 1,500 pieces, while the lavender blue model is limited to 1,000 pieces.

The watches retain key Formula 1 design elements such as the bidirectional bezel, Mercedes-style hour hand and signature shield indexes, helping maintain the sporty character that has defined the collection for decades.

Many of the models are crafted using TAG Heuer’s TH-Polylight material, which offers lightweight comfort while enhancing the visual intensity of the pastel colours. The steel bracelet editions feature sandblasted steel cases paired with three-row steel bracelets for a more elevated and refined appearance.

At the heart of the collection is the TAG Heuer Solargraph movement, which uses light as a virtually unlimited energy source. According to TAG Heuer, just two minutes of direct sunlight can power the watch for an entire day, while a full charge achieved in under 40 hours of light exposure can provide up to 10 months of autonomy in darkness.

Even if the watch fully stops, it can restart with only 10 seconds of light exposure, while the movement’s accumulator is designed to last up to 15 years.

All models feature 38mm cases, sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating and 100 metres of water resistance. Depending on the version, buyers can choose between colourful rubber straps or sandblasted steel bracelets.

The TAG Heuer Formula 1 38mm Solargraph pastel collection became available online from 28 April 2026, with full retail availability beginning from 1 May 2026.

The TAG Heuer Formula 1 38mm Solargraph Pastel collection ranges from S$2,700 to S$3,850 in Singapore.
