Dyson has unveiled the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene, its lightest in-hand and most hygienic wet and dry floor cleaner to date, designed to tackle everyday dust, hair and wet messes in one effortless clean.
Weighing just 3.82kg and featuring a slim, lie-flat profile of 113mm, the new cleaner is engineered to glide easily under low furniture while maintaining full cleaning performance. At its core is Dyson’s most absorbent self-cleaning microfibre roller, which simultaneously removes dry debris and washes away wet spills — using only clean water throughout the process.
A cleaner approach to floor washing
Unlike conventional wet and dry cleaners that rely on filters, the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene features a filter-free system. This design prevents clogging, eliminates sludge build-up and avoids the bacteria and odours commonly associated with dirty internal pipes. All dirt, debris and dirty water are contained within the cleaner head, ensuring waste never travels through the machine.
The ultra-dense microfibre roller is packed with 84,000 filaments per square centimetre and spins at 250rpm to lift stubborn stains, syrupy spills and even wet hair. Embedded nylon bristles enhance hair pick-up, while powerful capillary action draws away dirty liquid for a fast-drying, streak-free floor finish.
Hygienic cleaning, minimal maintenance
Maintenance is designed to be just as effortless as cleaning. After use, a built-in self-cleaning cycle flushes the roller with fresh water before drying it with 85°C hot air, helping to prevent bacterial growth and odours. The result is a cleaner that stays fresh and ready for the next use without messy dismantling or filter washing.
James Dyson, Founder of Dyson, said the difference is immediately visible. Floors cleaned with the machine show no dirt smearing and have a natural sheen, thanks to the roller being continuously refreshed with clean water instead of recirculating dirty liquid.
Designed for real homes
Beyond hygiene, usability is a key focus. The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene features three-sided edge cleaning to remove dirt right up to walls and skirting boards, while adjustable hydration settings — including a Boost mode — allow users to tailor cleaning based on floor type and mess level. A single tank can clean up to 350 square metres of hard flooring.
The cleaner also works with Dyson’s 02 Probiotic hard floor cleaning solution, formulated with active enzymes to lift grime at a microscopic level while remaining safe for pets and children.

The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene will be available in Singapore from 19 January 2026, priced at S$729, and can be purchased online or at Dyson stores and authorised retailers.
