Apple has unveiled the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus today, featuring a groundbreaking colour-infused back glass with a textured matte finish, along with a newly designed contoured edge on the aluminium frame. Both models include Dynamic Island and an advanced camera system optimized for capturing high-quality photos of everyday moments.
The main camera boasts a powerful 48MP sensor, offering super-high-resolution photos, and introduces a new 2x Telephoto option, essentially providing three optical zoom levels. Additionally, the iPhone 15 lineup introduces enhanced portrait capabilities and offers Roadside Assistance via satellite when users are in remote areas.
Powered by the A16 Bionic chip for outstanding performance, with a 5-core GPU, enables smoother graphics when streaming videos and playing games — all while powering incredible computational photography capabilities and the Dynamic Island, with privacy built in.
These iPhones also come in five vibrant colours: pink, yellow, green, blue, and black. Pre-orders start on September 15, with availability beginning on September 22.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus come in two display sizes, 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch, and feature Dynamic Island, an interactive feature for important alerts and Live Activities. The Super Retina XDR display offers excellent visual quality, with HDR brightness reaching up to 1600 nits for photos and videos.
In sunny conditions, peak outdoor brightness goes up to 2000 nits. Both models have a durable and colourful design, with colour infused throughout the back glass and a textured matte finish. They are water- and dust-resistant and offer industry-leading durability. The A16 Bionic chip powers the devices efficiently, delivering exceptional performance for various tasks.
The iPhone 15 camera system includes a 48MP Main camera that captures sharp images and videos, a 2x Telephoto option for versatile zooming, and next-generation portrait features for detailed and low-light portraits. Night mode has been improved, and Smart HDR enhances photos taken in bright or uneven lighting conditions. The A16 Bionic chip accelerates computational photography, supporting features like Live Voicemail transcriptions and third-party app experiences.
iPhone 15 users can charge the updated AirPods Pro (2nd generation) or Apple Watch right from their iPhone with the new USB-C connector.
Both models offer a USB-C connector for charging and data transfer, and they support MagSafe and Qi2 chargers for wireless charging. The second-generation Ultra Wideband chip allows for Precision Finding in crowded areas.
These iPhones maintain a high-quality 5G experience and improved call audio quality, even in noisy environments. They also feature eSIM support for convenient international roaming.
The devices run on iOS 17, which introduces new features like Contact Posters in the Phone app, enhanced Messages functionality, AirDrop improvements with NameDrop, and StandBy mode for glanceable information when charging. Additional updates include the Journal app for reflection and gratitude, autocorrect and Dictation enhancements, improved Private Browsing in Safari, and more.
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be available in pink, yellow, green, blue, and black in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage capacities, starting at S$1,299 or S$51.43 per month, and S$1,449 or S$60.38 per month, respectively.
Customers will be able to pre-order iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus beginning at 8 p.m. SGT this Friday, September 15, with availability beginning Friday, September 22.
