Acer Unveils Swift Edge 16 Laptop, Predator Triton 16 Laptop, and Eco-Friendly Wi-Fi 6E Mesh Router

Acer has unveiled its latest lineup of innovative products at Computex, Taiwan’s renowned computing event. Among the highlights are the Swift Edge 16 laptop, Predator Triton 16 laptop, and the company’s eco-friendly Wi-Fi 6E Mesh Router.

The Swift Edge 16 laptop is designed for professionals who prioritize productivity and creativity on the go. With a slim and lightweight magnesium alloy chassis measuring only 12.95 mm and weighing 1.23 kg, it offers portability without compromising performance. The laptop features a 16-inch 3.2K OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 500 nits peak brightness. It is powered by AMD Ryzen™ 7040 Series processors and AMD Radeon™ 780M graphics, ensuring a secured-core PC experience.

 

The Predator Triton 16 gaming laptop boasts a sleek design with a thickness of just 19.9 mm. Its 16-inch WQXGA panel with thin bezel frames and a 240 Hz refresh rate provides an immersive gaming experience. Equipped with 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processors, NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4070 Laptop GPUs, and up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, the Predator Triton 16 delivers powerful performance. The laptop also features advanced cooling capabilities with dual 5th Gen AeroBlade™ 3D fans, Vortex Flow technology, and liquid metal grease.

In line with its commitment to sustainability, Acer has introduced its first eco-friendly Wi-Fi 6E Mesh Router, the Acer Connect Vero W6m. This router incorporates post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials and offers an Eco mode for efficient energy consumption. It has achieved EU EN 303 645 (RED) Cyber Security Standards certification, ensuring swift and secure connections. With Wi-Fi 6E Triband support and AXE7800 throughput, the router delivers high-speed internet connections up to 7.8 Gbps. It can be combined with up to 4 units, covering a network range of up to 930 m2 on a quad mesh system and eliminating dead spots. The Eco mode optimizes power consumption for the router and connected devices by managing sleep time when not in use.

Acer also announced the expansion of developer tools for its SpatialLabs technology, enabling the creation of glasses-free, stereoscopic 3D experiences on Acer SpatialLabs Pro devices. The addition of support for the Unity plug-in extends the reach to more creators in fields such as education, architecture, construction, medicine, and more, complementing the existing Unreal plug-in.
