Sharp Corporation has officially announced the launch of its latest AQUOS XLED 4K TV in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa Region. This new model is an upgraded version of the AQUOS XLED introduced in Japan in 2021 and combines the best features of LCD and OLED TVs. The company aims to redefine flagship TVs by offering innovative designs and superior technologies that provide viewers with a lifelike viewing experience. The AQUOS XLED 4K TV is regarded as Sharp’s best product in the 4K TV segment, delivering exceptional picture and audio quality.
Hirofumi Okamoto, the BU President of Sharp Corporation’s TV Systems Business Unit, expressed the company’s commitment to evolving its technology and focusing on premium and large TVs to contribute to the growth of the global television market. Sharp is excited to introduce the new generation of AQUOS XLED technology to the Asia, Middle East, and Africa region, setting a new standard for home entertainment and enhancing the viewing experience for consumers.
The SHARP AQUOS XLED 4K TV boasts Xtreme mini-LED technology, providing the highest dimming zone in its class for true brightness. With over 2,000 backlight dimming zones and increased backlight LEDs, it offers unparalleled dynamic colour contrast and peak brightness compared to other brands. The TV also features Deep Chroma Quantum Dot technology, offering a wider colour gamut coverage area than conventional displays, resulting in realistic object colours and a true-to-life visual experience.
To create an immersive audio experience, the SHARP AQUOS XLED 4K TV comes with an ARSS+ surround speaker system equipped with 11 speakers surrounding the screen. Additionally, it integrates seamlessly with Google TV, providing easy access to a vast library of movies, TV episodes, and live TV channels.
The TV also incorporates the latest Dolby technology, including Dolby Vision IQ™ for optimal picture quality in any room and Dolby Atmos for immersive sound.
Sharp’s AQUOS TV brand has been its flagship product for over 20 years, known for its exceptional brightness and colour contrast performance.
