Sony will offer its smallest and lightest noise-cancelling truly wireless headphones, the LinkBuds S, in a new shade named “Earth Blue.” This comes after the variants in white, black, and ecru that have been on sale since June 2022. It utilises components from recycled water bottle production. Additionally, a multipoint connection has been made available, allowing for easy switching between the WF-1000XM4 headphones and the LinkBuds series via a software update.
The LinkBuds S model gives users a fresh way to use technology and gives you the best of both worlds. They allow you to continuously stay linked to both the online and offline worlds. They use LinkBuds’ ground-breaking ambient sound technology to engage with the outside world. High-quality noise cancellation surrounding you enables you to concentrate on the content you love.
The cosy LinkBuds S will be offered in the “Earth Blue” colour, which was made with recycled resin from used water bottles. Recycled water bottle materials are used in parts of the body and case of the LinkBuds S in Earth Blue to produce a distinctive marble design. It was initially created by Sony as part of an effort to find a fresh design expression and to increase the usage of recycled water server bottle materials.
In addition to the “Earth Blue” model, the whole LinkBuds series also comes with all packaging on the headphones being plastic free and the headphones using recycled materials from automobile parts.
The LinkBuds S Earth Blue version will be available in selected retail shops and online stores from Mid-November 2022 onwards.
