Lenovo Kicks Off FIFA World Cup 2026™ Fever in Singapore with Fandi Ahmad and AI Innovation

Lenovo Singapore is bringing the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ closer to local fans with a series of football-inspired initiatives, including a landmark partnership with Singapore football legend Fandi Ahmad, interactive fan experiences across the island, and an AI-driven coaching programme with the Institute of Technical Education (ITE).

As the Official Technology Partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, Lenovo is leveraging its global partnership to create meaningful local connections through sports, technology, and youth engagement. At the heart of this campaign is the appointment of Fandi Ahmad as Lenovo Singapore’s official brand ambassador, symbolising the shared values of resilience, ambition, and continuous growth.

One of Singapore’s most celebrated football icons, Fandi Ahmad, will play a central role in Lenovo’s upcoming campaigns leading up to the FIFA World Cup 2026™. His partnership with Lenovo highlights how technology can empower individuals to achieve their potential, whether on the football field, in education, or in everyday life.

As part of the collaboration, Fandi will appear at several major events and activations, including the launch of the Lenovo Re: Match Experience Store at *SCAPE alongside his son,n Irfan Fandi, participation in The Kickback’s Meet-and-Greet session, and the AI Foundry sports pilot with ITE aimed at developing future football coaches.

Fans can also look forward to an exclusive “Breakfast with the Legends” session on 18 July at Adventure Cove Waterpark, where they will have the opportunity to hear stories from Fandi Ahmad and former England football star Michael Owen, take photographs, and have memorabilia signed.

AI Experiences and FIFA World Cup Fan Zones Across Singapore
From 11 June to 20 July, Lenovo will bring football fever to CHIJMES and Capitol Singapore with a range of interactive activities, live match screenings, and exclusive giveaways.

A highlight of the fan zones is Lenovo’s AI Photobooth, located at the CHIJMES Mini Lawn and Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski. Fans can capture a photo, select their favourite national team jersey, and have AI instantly transform them into personalised digital football avatars, which can be downloaded directly via QR code.

Live FIFA World Cup screenings powered by Lenovo will also take place throughout the tournament on a giant 360-inch display at CHIJMES Main Lawn, as well as large screens at Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski and the Outdoor Plaza.

Visitors can also participate in the “Spend & Score” campaign by spending at least S$40 at participating outlets in CHIJMES or Capitol Singapore. By submitting their receipts through a QR code, fans can play an instant football-themed digital game and stand a chance to win Lenovo prizes, including the grand prize of a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Ultra FIFA World Cup 26™ Edition laptop. During the knockout stages, participants who successfully predict the tournament champion can unlock 10 times more chances in the grand draw.

Beyond traditional fan zones, Lenovo is also the Official Technology Partner for the Hypebeast Cup Singapore, a four-week sports and lifestyle event held at WEAVE, Resorts World Sentosa from 22 June to 19 July.

The event features a three-week EA SPORTS FC tournament with prizes including the PlayStation 5 Pro, alongside the launch of the exclusive Hypebeast Cup Singapore 2026 jersey, bringing together gaming, fashion, and football culture.

Lenovo Re: Match Experience Store Arrives at *SCAPE
Launching as part of X *SCAPE: Sports Edition during Singapore’s Youth Month celebrations, the Lenovo R: M atch Experience Store offers an immersive space where visitors can explore the intersection of football and technology.

Running until 31 July 2026, the activation showcases how Lenovo’s devices, services, and AI-powered solutions are supporting the FIFA World Cup experience, from enhancing fan engagement to improving behind-the-scenes operations and intelligence.

Lenovo AI Foundry Supports the Future of Football Coaching
Beyond fan engagement, Lenovo is investing in the future of Singapore football through the Lenovo AI Foundry programme, a year-long collaboration with the Institute of Technical Education (ITE).

The pilot project combines motion-capture technology and AI predictive models to assist in the training and development of junior football coaches. Guided by Fandi Ahmad’s coaching expertise, students from ITE College Central’s School of AI and School of Sports Science will contribute to the initiative through industry attachment opportunities.

The programme represents the first of several sports technology collaborations Lenovo plans to introduce locally, reinforcing its commitment to creating a lasting impact beyond the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
