German Audio Giant’s Compact Offering: Sennheiser unveils the AMBEO Soundbar Mini. Despite its smaller size, it delivers a powerful 7.1.4 virtual sound, transforming even the tiniest spaces with three-dimensional acoustics. Maximilian Voigt, the product manager for the AMBEO Soundbar, highlights that the latest compact Soundbar offers an immersive 3D audio experience suitable for almost any home entertainment setting.
This compact soundbar, with dimensions of just 70 x 10 x 6.5 cm, offers an ideal solution for those wanting high-quality audio for their living room, bedroom, desktop, or game room. While it subtly integrates with TV or monitor setups, its advanced acoustics, powered by 250 Watts and supported by four high-end drivers and two four-inch subwoofers, ensure that listeners don’t compromise on sound quality. Alongside its top-notch sound, the Mini offers features such as content-specific presets, a voice enhancement setting, and a Night mode for reduced disturbance. Its user-friendly design includes an HDMI1 input compatible with most eARC-enabled screens, and it can be effortlessly managed via the Sennheiser Smart Control App.
The distinct 3D sound of the AMBEO Soundbar Mini is a result of Sennheiser’s partnership with the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, a front-runner in audio R&D. The Mini incorporates four microphones used for AMBEO’s room calibration and also supports Alexa voice commands with its in-built Alexa feature. For added convenience, users can stream audio to the Mini using Google Assistant or Siri via Chromecast Built-In and AirPlay respectively.
As with all AMBEO products, the AMBEO|OS operating system provides a one-touch calibration function that adjusts the sound according to the room’s dimensions and acoustics. Moreover, it supports a plethora of audio formats like Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and 360 Reality Audio. For music aficionados, the Mini stands out as an excellent streaming device, compatible with Spotify, TIDAL, Amazon Music, and Apple Music, ensuring a captivating audio experience.
