A Visual Journey Through Seoul and Busan with my Canon EOS R50

Embarking on a thrilling adventure across Seoul and Busan, I had the pleasure of testing the capabilities of the Canon EOS R50, a compact and lightweight APS-C mirrorless camera. The Hanbok Experience:

At the Hanbok place, I put the EOS R50’s auto mode to the test. I snapped a picture of the hanbok I selected, marvelling at the camera’s ability to capture the intricate details effortlessly. Using the selfie video mode, I made a quick introduction below!

 

At Gyeongbokgung Palace:
As I stepped into the awe-inspiring Gyeongbokgung Palace, the Canon EOS R50 in hand, I was ready to capture the essence of this historical marvel. The camera’s remarkable features would assist me in immortalizing the beauty and grandeur of each area within the palace grounds.

Moving to the serene Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, I marvelled at its reflection on the tranquil pond beneath. Utilizing the camera’s landscape feature, I captured the pavilion’s entirety, in a shot that showcased its architectural elegance. The EOS R50’s wide dynamic range allowed for balanced exposure, capturing the vibrant colours of the pavilion against the serene surroundings.

Stepping into the opulent Royal Throne Room, I wanted to create images that reflected the grandeur of this space. The camera’s versatility allowed me to adjust settings to achieve the desired visual impact, resulting in stunning images that showcased the intricate details of the room. I was in awe looking at the throne the King used to sit on, and I am glad I was able to capture this memory.

Attending the vibrant Royal Guard Changing Ceremony, I was determined to capture its essence. The EOS R50’s intelligent focus switching during close-up demos ensured that my shots remained sharp and focused, even in the midst of the ceremony’s fast-paced action.

Switching the Canon EOS R50 to Sports Mode and using the telephoto lens, I ensured that I was ready to freeze the fast-paced movements of the ice skaters. With a burst shooting rate that captured multiple frames per second, I was armed and prepared to seize the most dynamic moments and I was able to pick the best shot.

As I embarked on my journey to Busan, a city known for its stunning landscapes and vibrant culture, I had my trusty Canon EOS R50 in hand, ready to capture the beauty that awaited me. From mesmerizing sunsets to the colourful streets of Gamcheon Culture Village, I set out to immortalize the essence of Busan through landscape, selfie, and close-up photography.

Venturing into the colourful labyrinth of Gamcheon Culture Village, I was captivated by its vibrant alleyways, painted houses, and artistic displays. The Canon EOS R50’s landscape mode allowed me to capture the essence of this unique neighbourhood. I could frame the bustling streets and the charming architecture in all their glory. The camera’s ability to capture rich colours and intricate details ensured that each photograph told a story of the village’s rich heritage and artistic spirit.

Within Gamcheon Culture Village, the Lock Wall stands as a symbol of love and unity. With the Canon EOS R50’s close-up capabilities and switching to a telephoto lens, I focused on capturing the intricate details of the locks, each representing a heartfelt memory or wish. From tight shots that showcased the delicate engravings to compositions that highlighted the collective beauty of the locks, the Canon EOS R50 allowed me to create images that captured the emotions and significance of this unique attraction.
