Google Pixel Kicks Off First-Ever Football Campaign in Malaysia

Google Pixel is tapping into Malaysia’s passion for football with the launch of its first-ever football-themed campaign, inviting fans across the country to play, compete and win throughout the football season.

Running from 15 June to 31 July 2026, the Google Pixel Football Campaign combines interactive gaming, exclusive rewards and football-inspired merchandise in a nationwide celebration designed to bring supporters closer to the action. The initiative reflects the growing trend of fans engaging with sports beyond the pitch through digital experiences, online communities and interactive content.

At the heart of the campaign is the Pixel Spotter Challenge, an online game that tests players’ observation skills and speed. Participants must complete five increasingly challenging stages by locating hidden Pixel plushies within a set time limit, earning points based on both accuracy and speed. Additional points can also be accumulated through a referral system, allowing players to boost their leaderboard rankings by inviting friends to join the challenge.

Throughout the campaign period, players can monitor their progress on a live leaderboard. The top six participants will stand a chance to win a range of Google Pixel products, including the Pixel 10a, Pixel Watch 4, and Pixel Buds 2a, adding an extra layer of competition to the experience.

Beyond the online challenge, Google Pixel is also rewarding customers who purchase eligible Pixel devices through participating retailers and telco partners. Fans can redeem exclusive football-themed merchandise such as limited-edition jerseys, footballs and tote bags, while the first 200 successful online redemptions will receive a special collectable Pixel plushie.

The campaign is supported by a broad network of retail and telco partners across Malaysia, including Maxis, U Mobile, Senheng, senQ, Urban Republic, TMT and Switch Solution, making it accessible to football enthusiasts nationwide.
