The Sennheiser brand has unveiled the new RS 275 TV Headphones bundle, designed to deliver immersive, crystal-clear audio for movies, TV shows, and live sports without disturbing others. Combining the ultralight RS 275 headphones with the compact BTA1 TV Transmitter, the system offers a powerful wireless listening experience with deep personalisation and seamless connectivity.
Powered by Auracast™ transmission technology and the LC3 Bluetooth® codec, the RS 275 system delivers ultra-low-latency audio that stays perfectly synchronised with on-screen action, while offering a wireless range of up to 50 meters. The headphones can also connect to other Auracast or Bluetooth Classic devices such as smartphones and tablets, allowing users to stream audio from apps throughout the home. With multiple audio inputs, intelligent multi-source switching, and multipoint connectivity, the RS 275 easily integrates into modern entertainment setups.

Setup takes just minutes, and users can further personalise their experience through the free Sennheiser Smart Control Plus App available on Android and iOS. The app enables features such as transparency mode, hearing profiles, left-right balance adjustment, device-specific audio modes, and even tools for locating misplaced headphones.
Sennheiser’s in-house acoustics ensure rich, balanced sound with enhanced vocal clarity and dynamic bass response. Built-in listening tools also help improve dialogue and immersion at comfortable volume levels, ideal for late-night viewing without waking family members or neighbours.
Designed for long viewing sessions
Built for comfort during extended viewing sessions, the RS 275 headphones feature a lightweight design comparable to the weight of a typical remote control. Breathable fabric ear cushions help keep ears cool while delivering a secure, comfortable fit.
Large textured buttons provide tactile control for power, volume—up to 106 dB—and incoming calls. The headphones deliver up to 50 hours of listening on a single charge, with convenient charging via the transmitter’s USB-C port or a standard household charger.
Both the ear cushions and the battery are user-replaceable, helping extend the headphones’ lifespan. A sturdy metal headphone stand is also included to keep the setup neat and organised.
When paired with the Smart Control Plus app, users can customise their sound further with equaliser settings, bass boost, and hearing enhancement tools. Listeners can tailor the audio profile to emphasise clarity, warmth, or balance, while an optional noise suppression mode reduces hiss and static by consolidating the signal to mono, particularly useful for older films and TV shows.
A versatile transmitter for modern setups
The included BTA1 TV transmitter acts as the hub of the system, broadcasting audio via Auracast to compatible devices such as headphones, earbuds, hearing aids, and wireless speakers. Designed for flexibility, the transmitter supports multiple input options and expanded audio enhancement features.
Dedicated top buttons allow manual switching between inputs and sound modes, including virtual surround sound and enhanced speech clarity for TV or HDMI ARC sources. Users can also connect their smartphone via Bluetooth to configure advanced features such as automatic input switching, video delay compensation, and Auracast broadcast settings, including naming, password protection, and hearing aid modes.
Connectivity options include optical and 3.5mm inputs for TVs, stereo systems, laptops, and game consoles, while HDMI ARC support allows audio from built-in TV apps or streaming services to be transmitted wirelessly. The BTA1 is powered via USB-A and includes a USB-C passthrough for headphone charging. Its compact design allows it to sit neatly on the included headphone stand or discreetly near the audio source.

The RS 275 TV Headphones bundle is now available through Sennheiser’s official website and authorised retailers in Singapore at a recommended retail price of S$429.
The BTA1 TV Transmitter is also available separately for S$199. In addition, a retail-exclusive version without the headphone stand, the RS 255 TV Headphones, is available on the Sennheiser Hearing online store for S$429.
