PUBG MOBILE has released its Version 4.1 Update, bringing the Frost Festival back with a brand-new Frosty Funland mode, major gameplay upgrades, creative tools for players, and multiple winter events. The update runs until January 5, offering a festive mix of fun, competition, and community activities.
Frosty Funland: A Penguin-Themed Adventure
The highlight of the update is Frosty Funland, a lively winter mode set in Penguinville, a snow metropolis built by a resourceful penguin civilisation. Players can explore icy landscapes, meet whimsical characters, and ride the Penguin Snowmobile.

A standout addition is PowNin, the first AI Penguin companion that supports voice, text, and quick commands while using ninja-style abilities in battle. Squads can also take on the Frosty Funland Themed Trial, completing invite deliveries under pressure to unlock a celebratory sequence and exclusive achievement.
Festive Events and Global Charity
The Frost Festival Event begins on December 12, featuring Wintercrest Hall, festive music, decorated maps, and Winter Vehicle Speakers.

Players can join the New Year Countdown Firework Event and contribute to a global penguin conservation campaign. Once the worldwide milestone is reached, PUBG MOBILE will donate USD 100,000 to penguin conservation efforts, with players receiving an exclusive digital certificate.
PMGC 2025 and Classic Mode Enhancements
Classic Mode gets PMGC-themed visuals, a special PMGC Venue, Champion Packs, and the Crown of Glory team buff.
Gameplay improvements from November 6 include rifle damage adjustments, ammo alerts, upgraded sound effects, a refreshed Boatyard, and Loot Trucks that drop crates when damaged.

Cycle 9 Season 27 launches with new rewards across Classic, Casual, and Ultimate Royale.
Crazy Chicken Day returns every Friday and weekend, while the Ranked Arena Event (Nov 27 – Jan 1) features TDM, Assault, and Domination modes with exclusive titles for top players.

Chapter 29 introduces Snow Crates, 1v1 custom settings, new collectables, and updated gifting rules, allowing continued exchanges even after reaching max favorability.
Home Mode and Hub Makeovers
Home Mode gains Polar Wonderland and Esports Room themes, new interactive objects, better editing tools, and an upgraded Parking Lot system. The Hub becomes a winter playground with mini-games, enhanced emotes, and a limited-time penguin cleaning event that unlocks a special start animation.

World of Wonder Expansion
Creators get new tools, including a Resource Centre, improved Mission Editor, additional items like the Armamech and Magic Ice Skates, and a redesigned Creation Lobby. The WOW Pass returns with fresh rewards and community contests.
PUBG MOBILE’s Version 4.1 Update will be available until January 5th. Download the game and play for free on the App Store and Google Play Store.
