Apple announced the iPhone Air, a breakthrough device that combines an impossibly thin and light design with pro-level performance, innovative cameras, and remarkable all-day battery life.
At just 5.6mm thin, iPhone Air is the slimmest iPhone ever created, yet stronger and more durable than any previous model thanks to a new titanium frame and the expanded use of Ceramic Shield on both the front and back.
A breakthrough design
iPhone Air is built with a grade 5 titanium frame featuring an elegant high-gloss mirror finish. A precision-milled plateau houses the cameras, Apple silicon, and speakers, maximising space for the battery while keeping the design ultra-thin.
The 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display supports ProMotion up to 120Hz, delivering smooth visuals, while 3000 nits peak brightness ensures excellent outdoor visibility.
Ceramic Shield 2 provides 3x better scratch resistance and improved anti-reflection, while the back also gains Ceramic Shield protection for 4x better crack resistance. Despite its slim form, iPhone Air is more durable than any previous iPhone.
Powerful cameras for every shot
The 18MP Centre Stage front camera introduces a square sensor with a wide field of view, enabling sharper selfies, flexible portrait or landscape framing, and ultra-stabilised 4K HDR video. With Dual Capture, users can record using both front and rear cameras at once — ideal for vlogs or reactions.
On the back, the new 48MP Fusion camera system offers the equivalent of four lenses in one device. It supports popular 28mm and 35mm focal lengths, a large quad-pixel sensor with sensor-shift OIS for low-light shots, and an optical-quality 2x Telephoto. A redesigned image pipeline powers next-gen portraits with Focus Control, letting users adjust depth and blur after capture. The latest Photonic Engine and Photographic Styles ensure natural skin tones and vibrant, lifelike images.
Video recording shines with 4K60 Dolby Vision, Spatial Audio, wind noise reduction, and support for Action mode.
Powered by Apple silicon
At the heart of iPhone Air is the A19 Pro chip, delivering Apple’s fastest CPU and GPU to date. The 6-core CPU balances performance and efficiency, while the 5-core GPU offers next-level mobile gaming and smooth rendering for AAA titles. Neural Accelerators built into each GPU core provide up to 3x the peak GPU compute of the previous generation, enabling advanced generative AI directly on device.
iPhone Air also features N1, Apple’s new wireless chip with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread for improved connectivity, and the C1X modem, Apple’s most efficient cellular chip yet, offering up to 2x faster speeds while using 30% less energy.
Remarkable all-day battery life
Despite its ultra-thin frame, iPhone Air delivers fantastic all-day battery life. Apple credits the redesigned internal architecture, power-efficient Apple silicon, and iOS 26’s Adaptive Power Mode, which intelligently learns user habits and conserves energy when needed.
eSIM-only for a lighter, more secure design
iPhone Air adopts an eSIM-only design, saving internal space and offering greater flexibility.
Supported by over 500 carriers worldwide — including Singtel, StarHub, and M1 in Singapore — eSIM ensures secure connectivity, easier travel roaming, and added protection against theft.
iOS 26 and Apple Intelligence
Running on iOS 26, iPhone Air benefits from a fresh Liquid Glass design, new Apple Intelligence features, and app improvements across Messages, Maps, Music, CarPlay, Wallet, and the new Apple Games app.
Live Translation, enhanced visual intelligence, and privacy-protected on-device AI make the experience more powerful and personal.
New ecosystem of accessories
Apple is also introducing new accessories tailored for the iPhone Air’s slim profile:
● iPhone Air Case with MagSafe in frost and shadow
● Slim Bumper in four matching colours
● Crossbody Strap in 10 vibrant colours
● MagSafe Battery, extending playback time up to 40 hours
