Extending from the dial to the case and even the strap, the snake is rendered in gold plating, sculpted with lifelike three-dimensional detail.
Thanks to cutting-edge laser engraving technology, each scale is captured with remarkable precision, giving the serpent a sense of motion as it appears to coil around the watch’s three chronograph counters.
Signature Spirit of Big Bang Design
The barrel-shaped black ceramic case retains the Spirit of Big Bang’s distinctive openworked dial, revealing the intricate chronograph movement beneath.
Surrounding it is a screwed ceramic bezel engraved with a subtle snake-scale motif that flows seamlessly into the black rubber strap. The strap itself boasts a velvet-like shimmer achieved through an innovative embossing technique, yet remains crafted from a single piece of rubber for comfort and durability. Inside beats the HUB4700 automatic skeleton chronograph calibre – a modernised descendant of the legendary El Primero, the first Swiss high-frequency integrated chronograph movement introduced in 1969.
Visible from both the open dial and the sapphire display back, this calibre incorporates technical upgrades, including a low-friction silicon escape wheel, ensuring precision and reliability while honouring its historic lineage.
