Garmin has introduced the Approach Z10, a compact laser rangefinder designed to help golfers make more confident club selections and shot decisions on the course. Packed with precise distance measurements, seamless integration with Garmin’s golf ecosystem and a lightweight design, the new device aims to take the guesswork out of every round.

Weighing less than 180g—lighter than most smartphones—the Approach Z10 is built for golfers who want professional-grade accuracy without adding bulk to their golf bag. The laser rangefinder measures distances of up to 350 yards with 6x magnification, allowing players to quickly lock onto the pin and receive precise yardages before every shot.

What sets the Approach Z10 apart is Garmin’s exclusive Range Relay technology. Once the laser locks onto the flag, the measured distance is instantly transmitted to compatible Garmin golf smartwatches, handheld GPS devices or the Garmin Golf smartphone app. This creates a laser range arc that displays not only the exact distance to the pin but also distances to the front and back of the green, helping golfers better understand pin placement and course strategy.

Garmin says the synced distances remain dynamic throughout play, automatically updating as golfers move closer to the target without requiring repeated measurements. This allows players to stay focused on their game while enjoying continuously updated yardages across their connected Garmin devices.
The Approach Z10 also includes PlaysLike Distance, which factors elevation changes into each shot and displays adjusted yardages directly inside the viewfinder. Whether hitting uphill or downhill, golfers can better judge club selection based on how far the shot will actually play.

For tournament golfers, the device includes a dedicated Tournament Mode, with an external indicator light that confirms only competition-legal distance information is being displayed. A built-in magnetic mount also allows the rangefinder to be securely attached to a golf cart for quick access between shots.
Garmin has also included practical features designed for everyday convenience. Find My Rangefinder helps users locate the device if misplaced by showing its last known location in the Garmin Golf app, while the replaceable battery delivers up to one year of typical use before needing replacement.

For golfers looking to unlock even more course intelligence, the Garmin Golf membership adds premium features including Green Contour Data, which provides detailed slope direction information on supported courses. Combined with high-resolution aerial course imagery across more than 43,000 golf courses worldwide, players can better plan approach shots, understand green breaks and make smarter decisions from tee to green.
The Garmin Approach Z10 is available in Singapore from 18 June 2026 with a recommended retail price of SGD 399.
It can be purchased through Garmin Brand Stores, the Garmin Online Store, Lazada, Shopee, Takashimaya and selected authorised retailers.
