Biver Introduces the Automatique: A Timeless Blend of Simplicity and Craftsmanship

Following the success of their 2023 launch with the Carillon Tourbillon Minute Repeater, Jean-Claude and Pierre Biver present the Biver Automatique, a return to the basics of watchmaking. This three-hand automatic watch, designed for daily wear, combines classic influences with modern aesthetics, setting the foundation for future Biver collections.

Automatique Atelier Series Rose Gold

Jean-Claude Biver describes the Automatique as a distillation of watchmaking art. “A watch showing just the hours, minutes, and seconds is the purest form,” he explains. Though simple at first glance, the watch’s 18k white and rose gold dials feature intricate hand-applied finishes and gold markers, shifting in appearance with light. Available in platinum or rose gold cases, the watch measures 39mm across and just 10mm thick, creating a cohesive and elegant design.

Introducing the Calibre JCB-003
The Automatique is powered by the newly developed Calibre JCB-003, created with Dubois Depraz.

Designed as the base for future models, it features a 22k gold micro-rotor, a 65-hour power reserve, and a zero-reset mechanism for precise time-setting. The movement’s intricate architecture includes guilloché, anglage, and black polishing, making it both technically advanced and visually dynamic.

The Atelier Series: Limited-Edition Stone Dials
As part of the limited Atelier Series, Biver introduces stone dials in small quantities, adding a timeless quality to the collection.

The initial models feature platinum with black sanded obsidian and 18k rose gold with Pietersite, blending technical mastery with artistic expression.

The Biver Automatique is available with 18k Rose Gold retailing at SGD 111,000, Platinum at SGD 116,000, 18k Rose Gold with Pietersite at SGD 131,000, and Platinum with Obsidian at SGD 136,000.
