Phone (2a) boasts the Dimensity 7200 Pro processor, a collaborative effort between Nothing and MediaTek, ensuring optimal performance with efficient power usage. Manufactured using TSMC’s cutting-edge second-generation 4nm process technology, Phone (2a) effortlessly handles any task with remarkable efficiency and speed. Equipped with a generous 20 GB RAM featuring RAM Booster technology, the 8-core chip, clocking speeds of up to 2.8 GHz, enables seamless multitasking throughout the day. This results in a 13% performance boost compared to its predecessor, Phone (1) while being 16% more energy-efficient.
Nothing and MediaTek have implemented optimizations such as Smart Clean (providing a 200% increase in UFS read/write speed over prolonged usage) and Adaptive NTFS (delivering a 100% enhancement in file transfer speeds with Windows computers), along with reducing power consumption of specific components by up to 10%.
Battery and Charging
With its largest smartphone battery to date, Phone (2a) features a robust 5,000 mAh unit, offering up to two days of usage on a single charge. Notably, Nothing has improved battery longevity by over 25% compared to Phone (1), maintaining over 90% of its maximum capacity after 1,000 charging cycles, equivalent to over three years of daily charging. Additionally, the battery exhibits a 13% decrease in temperature during charging and discharging, contributing to its durability.
For rapid charging, Phone (2a) supports 45W Fast Charging, delivering 50% power in just 20 minutes, optimizing charging speed without compromising battery life.
Camera
Phone (2a) features a dual 50 MP rear camera powered by the TrueLens Engine, ensuring every capture is true to life.
The TrueLens Engine incorporates advanced computational algorithms, including Ultra XDR, co-developed with Google, to accurately display highlights and shadows in every shot. Additionally, Phone (2a) sports a remarkable 32 MP front camera, enabling stunning selfies with enhanced light sensitivity.

Nothing OS
Phone (2a) debuts with Nothing OS 2.5, featuring Android 14 out of the box, along with three years of software updates and four years of security updates. Phone (2a) boasts Nothing’s lowest carbon footprint in a smartphone, reflecting a 12.5% reduction compared to Phone (1). Nothing implements a new recycling process, repurposing plastic waste from Ear (2) production into Phone (2a). Additionally, Phone (2a) features recycled materials in its construction, furthering Nothing’s commitment to sustainability.

As part of the Phone (2a) launch, Nothing introduces its first partnership in the AI space with Perplexity, offering eligible purchasers up to a year of Perplexity Pro. Phone (2a) is available in Black and Milk variants, with a 12GB/256GB configuration priced at SGD 499 in Singapore.
