As the 2024 America’s Cup in Barcelona is on the horizon, OMEGA celebrates the defending champions, Emirates Team New Zealand, with a special logo-inspired timepiece. The Seamaster Planet Ocean Deep Black ETNZ Edition was unveiled at OMEGA’s exclusive event during the preliminary Regatta in Vilanova.
In a year, the Auckland team will be vying to retain the prestigious title, one of the oldest in sports history. OMEGA’s latest design borrows elements from the ETNZ logo sail, resulting in an exclusive America’s Cup collectable timepiece.

A fusion of deep black with the vibrant turquoise of the Emirates Team New Zealand logo.
A black ceramic case, paired with a unidirectional brushed black ceramic bezel featuring a white enamel diving scale. The dot at noon is framed in white Super-LumiNova, illuminating with a green hue in darkness.
The matte ceramic dial has a COUNTDOWN INDICATOR at 3 o’clock, symbolizing pre-race proceedings with a flagged START. Turquoise accents from the ETNZ logo are found on the indicator hand, subdial ring, minute track, number 12, and the central second’s chronograph hand adorned with an America’s Cup trophy counterweight. Additional turquoise highlights are visible on the ceramic pusher rings, the helium escape valve’s “He”, and the OMEGA crown logo.
The NAIAD LOCK case back pays homage to the New Zealand team, showcasing the ETNZ logo with a turquoise fern and white typography. At the watch’s core lies OMEGA’s Master Chronometer Calibre 9900. The timepiece is presented with a black and turquoise rubber strap, accompanied by a black ceramic clasp. Buyers can also personalize their watch with an extra rubber strap or two NATO straps in matching shades.
The watch’s protective presentation box draws inspiration from the ETNZ logo.
