“I used to DJ, but now I’m doing events and commercial modelling, and when I have some free time after study I just like to watch Netflix. I’m in my second year of my course so I’ll probably learn about photography over the next two semesters.
I’ve not done vlogging before even though I watch a lot of vloggers on Youtube, specifically beauty and travel channels – especially whenever I go on a trip, I like to watch YouTube videos on the location I’m heading to, to find out more about the place, come up with a travel itinerary and what cool things I can do.
I think the G7 X Mark III is pretty good because it the screen can be flipped to front facing, so I can see how I look during a video and compose myself, and I’m quite intrigued by the range of manual settings that you can use to enhance your video, such as adjusting the brightness and exposure. It also captures 4K videos that look a lot sharper and brighter than the ones on my smartphone, especially if you view the results on a computer screen or TV! I like the fact that it’s just a bit bigger than my smartphone in size but much more capable in overall video quality.
Most influencers I know use their own smartphones for capturing IG stories or quick ‘in-the-moment’ pictures, but when it comes to video and quality content they always use a high-quality mirrorless camera or even DSLRs, but something that captures videos just as well as a mirrorless camera, but much smaller and easier to use.”
