AMD Expands Workstation Power with Ryzen PRO 9000 Series Featuring 3D V-Cache

AMD has unveiled its latest lineup of professional-grade processors with the Ryzen PRO 9000 Series, marking a significant expansion of its commercial desktop and workstation portfolio. Leading the announcement is the introduction of enterprise-ready processors equipped with AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology, delivering substantially higher cache capacity to accelerate performance in complex, data-heavy workloads.

Available in configurations ranging from six to 16 cores and scalable power profiles up to 170W TDP, the Ryzen PRO 9000 Series is designed to handle sustained high-performance tasks. Built on the AMD PRO platform, the lineup also brings enterprise-grade security, streamlined manageability, and long-term platform stability, key requirements for modern IT environments and professional deployments.

Built for Demanding Professional Workflows
The Ryzen PRO 9000 Series is engineered to support a wide range of professional applications. In media and entertainment, users can expect smoother real-time 4K and 8K video editing, faster encoding, and efficient compositing, especially when paired with AMD Radeon PRO graphics. For architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), the processors enable complex modelling, BIM workflows, and real-time visualisation with improved responsiveness.

In manufacturing and design, the increased processing power accelerates 3D CAD workloads, simulations, and mechanical design processes, helping teams iterate faster and shorten development cycles. Altogether, the new lineup positions itself as a versatile solution for professionals requiring both performance and reliability.
