To mark its 250th anniversary, Breguet unveils two extraordinary creations that embody its historic mastery of complications, artistry and innovation: the Classique Grande Sonnerie Métiers d’Art 1905 pocket watch and the Classique Répétition Minutes 7365 wristwatch.

Together, they reflect the maison’s past, present and future — uniting centuries-old craftsmanship with contemporary horological advances.
Classique Répétition Minutes 7365: A Contemporary Tribute
While the 1905 honours Breguet’s historic grandeur, the Classique Répétition Minutes 7365 represents the brand’s modern evolution. Unveiled as the only minute repeater wristwatch created for the 250th anniversary, it is produced in a limited edition of just 25 pieces.

For the first time, Breguet introduces a 39 mm case diameter for its minute repeaters, refining proportions for contemporary wear.
A New Gold Calibre
At its core beats the new calibre 1896, replacing the historic 567.2. This is the first Breguet minute repeater movement crafted entirely in Breguet gold. The gongs — directly attached to the gold case — are also made of gold, ensuring harmonious sound transmission.

With an upgraded 3 Hz frequency and optimised architecture, the movement offers a remarkable 75-hour power reserve. It is equipped with a silicon escapement and a non-magnetic regulating organ, resistant to magnetic fields up to approximately 600 gauss.
In a world-first for the maison, the 7365 is water-resistant to 30 metres — a significant feat for a minute repeater — and certified for precision of +/- 2 seconds per day.
A New Aesthetic in Bleu de France
The design blends tradition with renewal. Its 18K Breguet gold case features hand-guilloché engraving with the “Quai de l’Horloge” motif. The dial is finished in grand feu Bleu de France enamel — the first time this colour has been used in the brand’s recent history — and adorned with applied Breguet numerals in gold.

A secret signature appears at 6 o’clock, engraved by hand using a diamond-tipped pantograph.

Turning the watch over reveals a fully hand-engraved movement depicting two symbolic landscapes: the Quai de l’Horloge in Paris and Switzerland’s Vallée de Joux — a poetic dialogue between the maison’s origins and its present-day manufacture.
Classique Grande Sonnerie Métiers d’Art 1905: A Grand Complication Reborn
The Classique Grande Sonnerie Métiers d’Art 1905 is a monumental pocket watch created in tribute to Breguet’s 250 years of uninterrupted innovation. Produced only on request, it represents the first Grande Complication of its kind by Breguet in over two decades.

At its heart lies a movement comprising 532 components and combining four major pillars of Breguet’s legacy: a grande and petite sonnerie, a minute repeater, a tourbillon, and a regulator-style display. The regulator-style layout separates hours, minutes and seconds into distinct zones — with seconds indicated on the tourbillon at 4:30 — reinforcing the pursuit of precision that defined Abraham-Louis Breguet’s work.
A Magnetic Revolution in Sound
One of its most remarkable innovations is the magnetic regulator governing the striking mechanism. Unlike traditional mechanical regulators, this system uses electromagnetic braking to ensure a perfectly constant tempo of chimes — regardless of power level. Silent and contactless, it respects all three striking modes: Grande Sonnerie, Petite Sonnerie and Minute Repeater.

The watch also features patented gold gongs, echoing Breguet’s historic inventions such as the gong spring and tourbillon.
Métiers d’Art at Their Zenith
The 1905 is crafted in 18K Breguet gold and finished with Bleu de France enamel — a shade deeply rooted in French history and associated with Versailles. The dial features grand feu enamel, hand-engraved guilloché motifs inspired by the Quai de l’Horloge in Paris, and a secret signature engraved using a pantograph.

Even the case back is a work of art: entirely guilloché and enamelled, it depicts the banks of the Seine. Inside, the full quadrature of the striking mechanism is visible — a deliberate inversion that places technical beauty on display.
The watch is delivered with a Breguet gold chain and housed in an exceptional marquetry case made from wood of Marie-Antoinette’s oak tree, enhanced with resonance wood from the Risoud forest to amplify its acoustic performance.

Measuring 56.5 mm in diameter and powered by calibre 508GS, this pocket watch stands as a living museum of horological art and science.
Two Watches, One Legacy
Together, the Classique Grande Sonnerie 1905 and the Classique Répétition Minutes 7365 form a compelling narrative of Breguet’s enduring spirit.
The former honours the grandeur of historical pocket watch complications, enriched with artistic crafts and acoustic innovation.
The latter refines and modernises the minute repeater wristwatch, introducing gold calibres, water resistance and contemporary proportions.
