Electric vehicle brand Leapmotor is expanding its footprint in Singapore with a preview of two upcoming models — the Leapmotor B10 and Leapmotor C16 — at the Singapore Motorshow 2026.
Presented by Cycle & Carriage Singapore, the showcase offers local audiences an early look at the two export-bound models, highlighting Leapmotor’s rapid international growth and its plans to broaden its presence beyond the C10 electric SUV, which was introduced here in 2025.
The Motorshow appearance comes on the back of a strong year for Leapmotor. In 2025, the company emerged as the top Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) start-up brand, delivering 596,555 vehicles globally, a 103 per cent year-on-year increase. The brand’s expansion has been supported by strategic investments from global automotive players, including Stellantis, which holds a 19 per cent stake, and FAW Group, which recently acquired a five per cent shareholding.
Leapmotor B10: A Lifestyle-Focused Electric SUV
Positioned as a youthful, design-led lifestyle SUV, the Leapmotor B10 has already earned international recognition, winning a Gold Award at the 2025 French Design Awards and a Platinum Award at the 2025 MUSE Creative Awards.

The compact electric SUV features contemporary design elements such as Wing Star LED tail lights, Star Sports alloy wheels and a flowing Cloud Trail waistline. Inside, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging armrest and customisable ambient lighting enhance everyday usability, while a 12-speaker audio system adds to the immersive cabin experience.

Built on Leapmotor’s LEAP 3.5 architecture and running on the brand’s in-house LEAP OS, the B10 supports over-the-air updates to keep its systems current. Despite its city-friendly dimensions, it offers generous interior space, with a 430-litre boot expandable to 1,700 litres, as well as a 25-litre front storage compartment. The international-specification model on display is powered by a 67.1 kWh battery, delivering a range of 434 km, and includes vehicle-to-load capability.
Leapmotor C16: Premium Comfort for Families
Alongside the B10, Leapmotor is also showcasing the C16 BEV 630 LiDAR, a D-segment, six-seat electric SUV designed for family-oriented luxury. Presented in domestic-market specification, the C16 highlights Leapmotor’s focus on comfort, technology and space for larger households.

The six-seat layout prioritises passenger room across all three rows, complemented by ultra-wide reclining seats, sliding rails and a one-touch electric bed mode that transforms the cabin into a flat resting area. Entertainment takes centre stage with a 21-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system, rear-seat tables and a built-in refrigerator, creating what Leapmotor describes as a “cinema on wheels” experience.

The showcased C16 is equipped with an 81.9 kWh battery, enabling a range of 630 km on the CLTC cycle. Its LiDAR-based driver assistance system offers a preview of Leapmotor’s advanced sensing and safety technologies, integrating cameras, radar and high-precision LiDAR to support future driver-assistance capabilities.
Looking Ahead
While specifications for the Singapore market have yet to be finalised, the Motorshow showcase underscores Leapmotor’s engineering depth and its ambition to expand globally with a diverse electric portfolio. More details on potential local availability will be confirmed closer to market launch.
