Dyson Unveils Plum and Copper Beauty Collection for the Festive Season

Jang Won-young of IVE is the official Asia Pacific (APAC) brand ambassador for Dyson Hair Devices.

Dyson is dressing up its Beauty range for the festive season with Plum and Copper, a limited-edition colourway inspired by Kyawthuite, one of the world’s rarest gemstones.

Blending deep red plum with peach copper and ash ginger accents, the new finish brings a warmer, more luxurious character to five of Dyson’s best-known styling tools. Arriving in Singapore on October 6, the collection includes the Airwrap Co-anda2x, Airwrap i.d., Supersonic r, Supersonic Nural and Airstrait.

South Korean actor Park Bo-gum is the official brand ambassador for Dyson in the Asia-Pacific region.

Fronting the festive campaign are Dyson Asia Pacific ambassadors Jang Won Young and Park Bo Gum, who put the styling range through four very different looks.

From Soft Waves to Sleek Hair
Jang Won Young shows off the versatility of the collection with two contrasting styles. Her first is all about soft, glamorous waves, created with the Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x multi-styler and dryer.

Starting with damp hair, the Fast Dryer 2x attachment takes care of the initial drying before the Conical Co-anda2x curling barrel adds curls away from the face. Once brushed out, the result is a softer, flowing wave that feels suitably dressed up without looking overly styled.

For her second look, she switches things up completely with the Dyson Airstrait dryer and straightener. Instead of hot plates, the Airstrait uses airflow to take hair from wet to dry while straightening it at the same time. The result is a cleaner, sleeker finish designed to retain natural movement and shine.

Park Bo Gum Keeps It Relaxed
Park Bo Gum takes a more relaxed approach, starting with a textured fringe created using the Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer.

The look plays with natural volume rather than trying to keep every strand perfectly in place. The Gentle air attachment helps lift the roots before the Styling concentrator adds definition and movement, with a cold shot used to set the finished style.

His second look is sharper. Using the Airwrap Co-anda2x, the hair is directed backwards and away from the face to create a swept-back silhouette, while a loose section across the forehead keeps things from looking too formal.

Together, the four styles show that the festive collection is about more than its new colours. Dyson is also using the campaign to highlight how the same styling tools can move between casual, polished and occasion-ready looks.

A New Look for the Airwrap
Leading the collection is the Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x, priced at S$899.

Powered by Dyson’s Hyperdymium 2 motor, it delivers twice the air pressure and combines six styling functions in one machine — drying, curling, waving, straightening, smoothing and volumising. Its emphasis remains on creating different styles through controlled airflow without extreme heat.

The Airwrap i.d., priced at S$799, adds a more personalised approach. Bluetooth connectivity allows users to create a hair profile, with the styler then able to automate parts of the curling process, including wrapping, styling and setting the curl.
Supersonic Gets Two Festive Options

For those who primarily want a hair dryer, the Plum and Copper collection includes two choices.

At S$649, the Dyson Supersonic r is the more compact option. It is 30 per cent smaller and 20 per cent lighter than the original Supersonic, with RFID sensors built into its attachments so the dryer can automatically adjust its airflow and temperature settings.

The Supersonic Nural, priced at S$599, focuses more heavily on intelligent heat management. Its sensors measure the distance between the dryer and scalp and adjust the temperature accordingly, while attachment learning remembers the user’s preferred settings when different accessories are connected.

Straight From Wet to Dry
Completing the collection is the Dyson Airstrait, also priced at S$599.

Rather than using heated plates, the Airstrait directs precisely controlled airflow through the hair to dry and straighten it simultaneously. Dyson says this can cut the combined time spent drying and styling by an average of 25 per cent, while helping preserve hair strength and reduce breakage.

The Dyson Plum and Copper collection launches in Singapore on October 6, 2026.
