Xiaomi officially enters the luxury SUV market with the launch of the Xiaomi YU7, a high-performance all-electric SUV that redefines what the modern luxury SUV can be. Starting at RMB 253,500, the YU7 offers advanced technology, dynamic design, class-leading range, and a premium driving experience, setting a new benchmark in the EV space.
The YU7 is available in three versions:
Standard (RWD, ultra-long-range) – RMB 253,500
Pro (AWD, ultra-long-range) – RMB 279,900
Max (AWD, high-performance ultra-long-range) – RMB 329,900
Design that Defies the Ordinary
With a sleek 3:1 wheelbase-to-body ratio and a long, sculpted hood, its low-slung proportions recall classic automotive luxury while offering superior crash absorption and aerodynamic presence.
The wide-body design and muscular rear profile lend a commanding presence on the road.
A total of nine paint finishes, from Emerald Green to Dawn Pink, reflect Xiaomi’s mastery of colour design, offering a palette that suits both bold and subtle tastes.
Inside, drivers can choose from four interior colour themes, including the new Ash Gray & Iris Purple Dual-Tone, all paired with soft-touch materials and OEKO-TEX® Class 1-certified upholstery — safe even for baby skin. Seats feature Nappa leather, 10-point massage functions, and reclining comfort for all passengers.
Performance with Power and Grace
The YU7 Max accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 3.23 seconds, making it the fastest SUV under RMB 800,000. Powered by Xiaomi’s HyperEngine V6S Plus, the Max version delivers 690 PS and a top speed of 253 km/h.
The YU7 Standard offers the longest range of any EV SUV in its class — up to 835 km (CLTC). Even the AWD variants can deliver up to 770 km, with support for 800V ultra-fast charging that delivers 620 km of range in just 15 minutes.
Quiet, Comfortable, and Connected
The YU7 is designed for luxury from the inside out, with double-laminated glass for whisper-quiet cabin acoustics, a 25-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system, zero-gravity seats with heating, massage, and ergonomic lumbar support, and 36 storage compartments, including a smart-locking glove box and spacious trunks (up to 1,758 L with seats down).
Additionally, a built-in 4.6L fridge, customizable ambient lighting, panoramic EC sunroof, and Xiaomi’s Motion Sickness Relief Mode make for a supremely comfortable ride.
Technology Meets Intelligence
Equipped with Xiaomi’s HyperOS and powered by NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor™, the YU7 features a cutting-edge “Human × Car × Home” smart ecosystem. The Xiaomi HyperVision Panoramic Display projects essential driving info directly onto the windshield. Animated virtual pets and mic-free karaoke provide fun interactions. Five-zone voice control with AI-powered XiaoAI assistant offers intuitive, multimodal controls.
Apple users aren’t left out either. The YU7 supports CarPlay, Apple Watch vehicle control, and real-time updates via the Xiaomi EV app.
Safety First
The YU7 adopts 2200 MPa ultra-high-strength steel, forming an “embedded roll cage” for superior impact protection. It also features over 50 crash test validations, advanced battery shielding, and intelligent safety assist systems using LiDAR, 11 HD cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars.
With over 10.62 million kilometres of testing across extreme conditions and a 3,944 km non-stop 24-hour endurance record, the YU7 proves its strength and reliability on every front.
Available Now
The Xiaomi YU7 electric SUV is currently only available for pre-order in China and has not been released in Singapore yet. While Xiaomi has indicated plans to introduce the YU7 to Singapore, a specific release date has not been announced.
The YU7 is expected to be priced similarly to the Tesla Model Y in Singapore, if and when it becomes available.
