LG Electronics Singapore hosted its first-ever LG AI: Affectionate Intelligence showcase from April 18–20 at New Bahru School Hall, drawing over 1,100 attendees. The three-day event offered a hands-on look at LG’s 2025 product lineup and its vision of AI-driven, human-centric innovation.
Opening the event, LG Singapore’s Managing Director, Mr. Fabian Kunho Lee, introduced the concept of “Affectionate Intelligence”, AI designed to understand and enhance users’ lives in thoughtful, intuitive ways.
Guided by the theme Past, Present, and Future, the showcase began with a nostalgic journey featuring a pop-up Mama shop, retro games, and a wall of LG milestones.
The Present Zone highlighted LG’s latest TVS, audio systems, and smart home appliances, brought to life through interactive demos and challenges.
Completing missions earned visitors a spin at a prize capsule machine, with rewards ranging from exclusive LG products to Castlery homeware.
The Future Zone showcased a fully integrated smart home setup, where LG’s AI-powered appliances seamlessly blended into everyday living spaces, demonstrating the brand’s vision for smarter, more connected homes.
MEDIA ENTERTAINMENT SOLUTIONS
LG revealed its 2025 OLED TV lineup, including the M5, G5, C5, and B5, all powered by next-gen AI processors for richer visuals and smarter performance. New QNED models offer screen sizes up to 100”. The portable StanbyME 2, with 4 hours of wireless use, adds versatility to at-home viewing, while the SG10TY Soundbar delivers immersive audio with a minimalist design.
On the computing side, the new LG gram Pro laptops pack a lightweight design, AI-driven productivity tools, and Intel’s latest processors. The 2-in-1 model includes a wireless stylus. For gamers, UltraGear OLED monitors now feature up to 480Hz refresh rates and webOS smart functions. A first for the series.
LG also introduced upgraded Smart Monitors, including the touchscreen-enabled 4K Smart Monitor Swing, perfect for both work and entertainment.
HOME SOLUTIONS
LG’s latest home appliances combine elegant design with smart functionality. The 2025 fridge lineup features InstaView®, UV Nano® tech, and advanced cooling systems.
Laundry care gets an upgrade with AI-powered WashTowers™ and washer-dryer units that reduce microplastic shedding. The updated LG Styler® includes smart controls and a HandySteamer for easy wrinkle removal.
For cleaning, the new LG CordZero® Handstick Vacuum offers hands-free dust disposal, LCD status display, and optional steam mopping for a deep clean.
AIR SOLUTIONS
LG’s new air care products focus on comfort, efficiency, and convenience.
The Dualcool AI Air Conditioner adjusts cooling automatically and can pre-cool rooms, while the AeroBooster Pet Version purifies air in homes with pets using real-time AI sensing.
The Dual Inverter Dehumidifier, now in three sizes, features UVnano™ sanitation and remote control via the ThinQ™ app. The compact AeroHIT Air Purifier and stylish Aero Furniture air purifiers round out the lineup, offering smart air quality management in functional, design-friendly forms.
