Marantz has expanded its acclaimed hi-fi lineup with the launch of the MODEL 70 Integrated Amplifier and CD 70 CD Player, two new components that build on the success of the award-winning PM6007 amplifier and CD6007 player.

Together, the MODEL 70 and CD 70 represent the next evolution of Marantz’s entry-level hi-fi range, blending the brand’s rich heritage with contemporary performance and versatility.

The MODEL 70 and CD 70 introduce Marantz’s latest industrial design language to a wider audience. Featuring the brand’s signature full-width chassis, premium materials and meticulous attention to detail, both components are available in Black and Silver-Gold finishes, making them an elegant addition to modern living spaces.
Beyond aesthetics, the components feature optimised internal layouts, vibration-resistant chassis construction and carefully selected components to maximise audio performance while maintaining the sophisticated look expected from Marantz.
Signature Marantz Sound
At the heart of the MODEL 70 is Marantz’s renowned warm and detailed sound signature.
The integrated amplifier features an upgraded current-feedback Class A/B amplifier delivering 50W per channel, paired with an enhanced power supply and larger toroidal transformer for improved dynamics, greater speaker control and more authoritative sound across a variety of speaker systems.
A high-performance DAC and Marantz’s proprietary HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) circuitry ensure exceptional digital playback with the speed, accuracy and musicality the brand is known for. Vinyl enthusiasts are also catered for with a dedicated MM phono stage for direct turntable connectivity.
Built for Modern Listening
The MODEL 70 has been designed to fit into today’s entertainment setups seamlessly.
New HDMI ARC support allows users to significantly enhance TV audio while maintaining convenient volume control using their television remote. Bluetooth connectivity has also been expanded to include both transmit and receive functionality, supporting aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, AAC, and SBC codecs for high-quality wireless music streaming or private listening via compatible wireless headphones.
A wide range of analogue and digital inputs, along with preamplifier and subwoofer outputs, provides the flexibility to integrate the amplifier into virtually any home audio system.
Premium CD and High-Resolution Audio Playback
The CD 70 continues Marantz’s commitment to exceptional disc playback while embracing modern digital music libraries.
Using the same high-performance DAC and HDAM circuitry found in the MODEL 70, the CD player delivers detailed, expressive playback from CDs while preserving every musical nuance.
Its front-mounted USB-A port supports playback of high-resolution audio formats including FLAC HD, ALAC, AIFF and DSD, making it equally suitable for digital music collections.
To further enhance performance, the CD 70 incorporates an upgraded power supply, double-layer chassis construction, rigid isolation feet and copper hardware to minimise vibration and electrical interference.
A fully discrete headphone amplifier with HDAM technology, adjustable gain settings and automatic headphone detection provides premium private listening without requiring an external headphone amplifier.
Sustainable by Design
Marantz has also adopted more environmentally conscious packaging for both products. The MODEL 70 and CD 70 use FSC-certified cartons, paper-based protective materials and reduced plastic packaging, helping minimise environmental impact while maintaining a premium unboxing experience.
