Independent Swiss watchmaker Krayon has unveiled the second edition of its innovative Anyday timepiece, now presented in 18K rose gold with a two-tone anthracite dial. Building on the pioneering concept of the original model, the new edition retains the watch’s distinctive full-month display while introducing a warmer, more refined aesthetic.
Designed as a practical calendar for everyday use, Anyday remains the first mechanical wristwatch capable of displaying the entire month at a single glance. Rather than presenting the date in isolation, the watch provides a comprehensive overview of the month, offering a clear and intuitive way to understand the structure of time.
An Agenda on the Wrist
At first glance, Anyday appears rooted in classical watchmaking traditions. The dial features central hour and minute hands, applied hour markers and a clean chapter ring that reflects the timeless codes of traditional horology.

Its true innovation, however, is revealed along the outer edge of the dial. A fixed ring numbered from 1 to 31 frames the display, while a subtle crescent-shaped indicator moves gradually along the ring to mark the current date.

Instead of isolating a single numeral in a window, the watch displays the entire month simultaneously, allowing the wearer to visualise the flow of days at a glance. Questions typically answered by a diary or smartphone can be quickly understood from the dial itself — whether the 15th falls on a weekend, how many working days remain, or where the month begins and ends.
The result is a calendar display that presents time in a structured yet calm and continuous way.
Colour as Information
In the rose gold edition, legibility is enhanced through thoughtful use of colour. The anthracite dial is composed of two superimposed discs, each meticulously hand-painted by artisan André Martinez in Le Locle.

Weekdays are displayed in anthracite, while weekends appear in gold, creating a natural rhythm around the dial. The familiar cycle of five working days followed by two days of rest becomes visually apparent, enabling the wearer to intuitively read the structure of the month without relying on apertures, abbreviations or additional sub-dials.
The Four Extra Days – A Clever Transition
Displaying an entire month on a mechanical watch introduces a subtle challenge when transitioning between months. To maintain clarity between the 31st and the 1st, Krayon incorporates four discreet dots positioned at 6 o’clock.

These markers serve as a visual buffer between months, but they also play an important mechanical role. By extending the traditional 31-day layout to 35 positions, the dial accommodates five complete weeks, ensuring continuity in the weekly rhythm.
The additional four markers indicate the weekday sequence for the first days of the upcoming month while maintaining a smooth progression from the final days of the previous month. The result is a calendar display that feels fluid rather than segmented.
Mechanical Innovation
The Anyday calendar mechanism is designed with practicality in mind. The watch treats every month as having 31 days, meaning the wearer only needs to perform five manual corrections per year for shorter months.

At midnight, the date changes through an instantaneous jumping mechanism powered by a cam system that gradually accumulates energy over 24 hours before releasing it in a precise transition. The change from the 31st to the 1st occurs with the same decisive movement.

Powering the watch is Calibre C032, a fully in-house movement consisting of 378 components. Two key cams control both the daily date jump and the transition between months.
Refined in 18K Rose Gold
The new Anyday edition is housed in an 18K rose gold case, paired with an anthracite sunburst dial featuring Krayon’s distinctive guilloché “Y” motif at its centre.

Through the caseback, the movement reveals finishing details inspired by the landscape of the brand’s home region. The bridges echo the curves of the Neuchâtel lakeshore, while the mainplate is decorated with Krayon’s signature wave finishing.

Completing the watch is an anthracite lizard leather strap secured with an 18K rose gold pin buckle, reinforcing the warm and elegant aesthetic of this edition.
A Calendar Designed for Everyday Life
With Anyday, Krayon continues to develop original calendar mechanisms that combine mechanical complexity with intuitive usability. The watch reflects the brand’s philosophy of creating complications that are both technically demanding and naturally easy to understand.
In an era where most people rely on digital devices to check dates and schedules, Anyday offers a mechanical alternative — providing a calm, comprehensive view of the month ahead on the wrist.
The Krayon Anyday in 18K rose gold retails for SGD 171,000 (inclusive of tax).
