Glashütte Original pays tribute to the artistry of its watchmakers with the launch of the PanoMaticCalendar Limited Edition “Blue of Dawn”, a platinum timepiece limited to just 150 pieces worldwide. This annual calendar watch blends technical sophistication with poetic design, honouring the early hours of the day when watchmakers in Glashütte begin their meticulous craft.
A Tribute to the Early Morning Silence
For centuries, Glashütte watchmakers have valued the stillness of early mornings — a tradition once a necessity in the days before electric light, now cherished.
The PanoMaticCalendar captures this atmosphere of focus and clarity with its skeletonised dial in a serene “Blue of Dawn” hue, offering a window into the inner workings of the watch and evoking the quiet inspiration of daybreak.
A Window Into the Soul of Time
Transparency lies at the heart of this limited edition. The 42 mm platinum case houses a cut-out dial finished in a fine matte “vinyl” texture, revealing the decorated Calibre 92-11 movement beneath. Key displays include:
● Retrograde month display (3–6 o’clock), presented via a curved sapphire crystal window.
● Panorama Date at 4 o’clock, requiring correction only once per year on March 1st.
● Moon phase complication at 2 o’clock, set against a hand-crafted dark blue starry sky.
Blue hands, white gold indexes, and Super-LumiNova® luminous accents ensure excellent legibility, while strap options include Louisiana alligator leather or a high-quality fabric strap, both in matching blue.

The PanoMaticCalendar is powered by the manufactory Calibre 92-11, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Equipped with a silicon balance spring for resistance to magnetism and temperature fluctuations, it guarantees outstanding precision. A generous 100-hour power reserve provides convenience for daily wear.
Through the transparent case back, connoisseurs can admire traditional Glashütte finishes such as the three-quarter plate with stripe finish, bevelled edges, blued screws, and polished steel parts.

The PanoMaticCalendar “Blue of Dawn” Limited Edition will be available from September 2025 in Glashütte Original boutiques and selected retailers worldwide.
