LG Electronics is heating up the conversation on sustainable innovation at ISH 2025, the world’s premier trade fair for HVAC and water solutions, held in Frankfurt, Germany from 17–21 March. With a strong focus on decarbonisation and electrification, LG is presenting its latest residential and commercial heating technologies tailored to meet the needs of the European market.
Redefining Home Heating: The New Therma V R290 Monobloc
At the forefront of LG’s exhibit is the Therma V R290 Monobloc, a next-generation air-to-water heat pump (AWHP) designed for residential use. Combining sleek European design with top-tier energy efficiency, the system has earned accolades including a 2024 International Design Excellence Award and a “Good” rating by Stiftung Warentest. Using low-GWP R290 refrigerant, the unit achieves an A+++ energy rating¹ while helping to reduce carbon emissions.
Built for harsh European winters, the Therma V uses LG’s proprietary scroll compressor to maintain full performance at -15°C. It also features ultra-quiet operation at just 50 decibels in Low Noise Mode²—ideal for creating a peaceful home environment.
Smart, Scalable Solutions for Multi-Residential Buildings
LG is also showcasing the Monobloc G large-capacity AWHP and Cascade Control Unit, which offer flexible, high-efficiency heating for larger properties. With support for up to eight interconnected units, this scalable solution ensures consistent heating, space-saving design, and minimal noise—making it perfect for multi-family dwellings.
Energy-Saving Comfort for Modern Homes
Visitors can explore LG’s line-up of Heat Pump Water Heaters (HPWH) featuring the R290 refrigerant. These smart-grid-ready units combine electricity and air-source technology to deliver superior efficiency compared to traditional electric or gas heaters. Available in floor-standing and wall-mounted models, they adapt easily to a range of home layouts.

Also featured is the DUALCOOL AI Air system with an AI DUAL Inverter, which intelligently adjusts temperature, airflow direction, and speed based on ambient conditions. Three compact models, all using R290 refrigerant, offer space-efficient, eco-conscious cooling for any household.
Advanced HVAC for Commercial Applications
For commercial facilities, LG is highlighting its Inverter Scroll Chiller, equipped with twin inverter compressors and high-efficiency plate-type heat exchangers. When paired with LG’s BECON CPM system, it offers real-time performance monitoring, energy optimisation, and remote issue alerts, simplifying facility management with AI-driven precision.
Also on show is the Multi V I VRF system, a fully electric solution that adjusts performance dynamically based on environmental conditions. When connected with the Hydro Kit, it supports hot water and floor heating applications. With seamless compatibility with a wide range of AHU systems, it’s built for warehouses, offices, and more.
With its latest innovations, LG continues to push boundaries in HVAC technology—delivering smarter, greener, and more user-friendly solutions for a better tomorrow.
