Welcome to the March 2025 edition of NXT. This month, we shift gears into the future of electric mobility, exploring how EVs are revolutionizing transportation. As the automotive industry undergoes its most significant transformation in a century, electric vehicles are no longer a niche—they are the future.

With EV sales accounting for 14% of global new car sales in 2023, driven by government incentives, battery innovations, and sustainability goals, nations like Norway and the EU are accelerating the transition away from combustion engines. While longer ranges, faster charging, and improved battery durability solve key barriers, challenges like charging infrastructure, resource sustainability, and grid demand still need to be addressed.

Under the Gear section, we have featured Jaguar Type 00 Concept, Lenovo Legion Go S, Samsung Galaxy S25 series and Galaxy Ring, Nikon Coolpix P1100,  and Sennheiser HD 505 Copper.

In this issue, Vanessa tested out her cooking skills with Acerpure 2-in-1 Flip Air Fryer during her off day at home.

In Test, starting on page 81, we put the Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni to the test—an advanced robotic vacuum with 18,000 Pa suction, AI-driven navigation, and a self-cleaning mop system, redefining hands-free home cleaning.

We also look closer at the Honor Magic7 Pro, a flagship smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, featuring an AI-enhanced user experience and an advanced periscope telephoto camera that takes mobile photography to the next level.

Finally, in NXT Big Thing, we explore the next chapter of electric mobility, diving into how Singapore’s EV revolution is shaping a sustainable, high-tech urban landscape.

NXT is available at all major newsstands, and bookstores and the digital version is available to download at magzter.com.
