Sony has launched the ZV-E10 II, the second iteration of its popular ZV-E10 camera, designed for content creators. The new model retains beloved features like a Creative Look, Product Showcase Setting, Background Defocus, and a vari-angle flip screen while enhancing sophistication and usability.
Enhanced Hardware and Performance
The ZV-E10 II boasts an upgraded 26-megapixel Exmor R™ CMOS sensor and the latest BIONZ XR™ image processing engine.
Key improvements include better autofocus, advanced video recording capabilities with a Cinematic Vlog Setting, a new vertical format user interface, a larger Sony NP-FZ100 battery, and improved connectivity for seamless live streaming and data transfer. Despite these upgrades, the camera remains lightweight at approximately 377 grams.
New Lens Offering
Sony also introduced the E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II, a compact power zoom lens available separately or as part of the ZV-E10 II’s kit.
This lens is lighter and offers improved autofocus and video performance compared to its predecessor.
Creative Features for Premium Content
The ZV-E10 II features a Creative Look and a Cinematic Vlog Setting to enhance video and photo aesthetics.
Users can choose from ten Creative Look presets and customize them through eight parameters, saving up to six personal styles directly on the camera.
The Cinematic Vlog Setting optimizes aspect ratio, frame rate, and autofocus for cinematic video capture, with additional options like S-Cinetone™ for skin tone enhancement and various colour moods.

The ZV-E10 II includes a new vertical user interface for easier vertical content creation, 4K 60p capture, up to 120p in Full HD, Product Showcase Setting, Background Defocus, Face Priority Auto-Exposure, Soft Skin Effect, USB 3.2 Type-C® port for high-speed data transfer, time-lapse capabilities, an intelligent 3-capsule microphone, a supplied windscreen, Multi-Interface (MI Shoe) for external microphones, and 5 GHz Wi-Fi for live streaming.
Environmental Considerations
The camera body is made from recycled materials, including SORPLAS™, and the packaging uses Sony’s recycled paper “Original Blended Material.” This eco-friendly approach has saved approximately 395 tons of virgin plastic over 11 years.
E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II Lens
The new lens offers a versatile range (24-75 mm full-frame equivalent), high resolution, close-up performance, and smooth power zoom for video shooting. It supports in-body stabilization and breathing compensation to minimize blur and shifts in angle during focusing.
Availability
The ZV-E10 II and the E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II will be available in Singapore from late July 2024.
