As a student who works part-time, I am constantly lugging around heavy items and thus a good bag is essential. Since my backpack broke, I’ve been on the lookout for a new one and was thrilled to receive two bags from The Bold Co during the NXT Angels campaign.
The first one is Quiver, a multi-functional bag that has 3 different carry styles. You can opt to either grip it, sling it or backpack it. For the last option, you will need to purchase an additional strap at SGD $24. With a huge array of compartments, I can definitely see this becoming my new everyday bag.
The front-load compartment was the most spacious so I stored the bulkier items, such as my towel, tablet and charger there. Since I regularly hit the gym before classes, I really loved the ventilated shoe compartment which was perfect for carrying my sports shoes without causing the rest of my items to smell! It also has an expandable pouch at the side for me to slot in my water bottle. Next, I placed small valuables such as my wallet in the handy front pocket for quick access.
The card slot was an absolute life-saver. I loved how I could slip my EZ link card in so now I no longer have to scramble for my wallet while boarding the bus! Last of all, my phone went into the touchscreen-sensitive compartment so I could use my device on the go without taking it out.
The next day, I went on my regular weekend stroll with my friends around the neighbourhood. For this expedition, I decided to switch to Mimic, since it is smaller and more lightweight at only 0.3kg.
Similarly, this bag also has several carry styles and you can opt to wear it as a backpack, crossbody, belt bag or just hook it on.
Despite its small size, the main compartment was spacious enough to fit my water bottle, a small towel and my toiletries. There was also an interior safety sleeve which was great for slotting in my wallet. Lastly, I slipped my phone into the front pocket for easy access.
Being constantly on the go, I loved how functional these bags were. Retailing at SGD $107 for Quiver and SGD $67 for Mimic, these are definitely a steal, and they have a huge array of colours for you to choose from! The ones I received were Raven Black and Forest Green, respectively.
To keep my skin hydrated, I decided to bring along the Travelmall XS Nano Spray, another takeaway from the campaign. This rechargeable lightweight spray utilises high-speed vibrations to generate nano-sized water particles by gathering invisible moisture in the air, delivering water evenly and deeply into my skin’s pores. This was truly refreshing, especially in Singapore’s humid weather!
It can hold up to 8ml of water and produces 80 sprays per charge. There is also an indicator to let you know when the battery is running low.
