LG Launches World’s First 16:18 Aspect Ratio Monitor in Singapore

LG’s 27.6-inch display, which pioneered the first 16:18 aspect ratio format, when paired with the second-generation Ergo arm, gives expansive vertical screen size and makes the most of small work spaces for an unmatched user experience.

The special Square Double QHD (2,560 x 2,880) resolution display, created with productivity and comfort in mind, gives users the equivalent of two 21.5-inch screens on a single panel, eliminating the need for side-to-side neck rotation. Its Nano IPS display, which supports 98 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and produces rich colour reproduction and lifelike details, is one of its main selling points.

The LG DualUp monitor features LG’s Live Colour Low Blue Light and an ambient light sensor that changes screen brightness in accordance with ambient light levels. The vertical split view function makes it simple to multitask by running two windows through the picture-by-picture feature while giving the user simple, seamless navigation.

With the most recent Ergo stand, the monitor further improves viewing pleasure and guarantees an effective cable management solution. In addition to the extensive range of adjustability, the arm offers a wider swivel angle of up to 335 degrees, height adjustments up to 130 millimetres, extensible and retractable over a depth of 210 millimetres, tilt up to 25 degrees, and rotation 90 degrees to landscape or portrait modes.
