Lightweight and stylish, Xiaomi updated its Mi series family with the Mi11 5G. I’ve heard so many good things about it, and I am very excited to try it out! I did an unboxing video with the latest Xiaomi POCO phone too, do check it out below!
First off, let’s talk about its screen aesthetics. It has a 6.55” AMOLED DotDisplay with 10-bit TrueColor support. This is why when I was using the phone, the phone always produces vivid images from all angles.
Mi 11 5G is the world’s first mobile device to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G and offers more power, more speed and higher reliability with its 5nm manufacturing process and LiquidCool technology.
Both the wide-angle camera and the front camera have been optimized for low-light conditions with Night Mode. Here, I snapped a landscape photo of the night lights in my neighbourhood. The night mode gave the low light pictures higher brightness, sharper contrast and more details. The lights in the photo were brought out so well even though in reality it was really dark.
I also managed to squeeze in a night-out selfie, in the dark car. Its camera also has a selection of new video modes and filters that allow anyone to easily capture pro-level, cinematic footage that would otherwise require a high level of expertise and expensive equipment to create.
I snapped a beautiful photo of the beach landscape, the colours were vibrant and I’m glad I’m able to keep the memories of this day with me. Even in good lighting, the camera performs well, and the image is sharp and clear. The colours on the photos are true to the colours, in reality, something which I love.
The Mi11 5G is definitely designed for the fashionable young generation! Fresh colour options including Horizon Blue and Midnight Gray. Starting from ~ $999.00 – $1,099.00. Mi 11 5G comes in two variants, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB and will be available for purchase from official Xiaomi channels.
I paired my Mi11 5G up with the world’s number one wearable band brand, the Mi Smart Band 6.
With a 1.56’’ Stunning Full-Screen Touch Display, it offers 326PPI crystal-clear resolution and approximately 50% more screen space than its predecessor. I brought it out with me on my day out today, and I love how it looks on me.
Mi Smart Band 6 doubles its fitness mode options to include a total of 30 fun and challenging workout types. I can now enjoy more indoor training like stretching and HIIT, try out professional sports like gymnastics or even play with fun activities, such as Zumba and street dancing. For me, I clocked in my daily yoga session with the watch. I love that I was able to sync my data to the Mi Fit App, super convenient!
I am able to track my day-to-day health tracking seriously with its enhanced health monitoring features. It features SpO2 measurement, accurate heart rate monitoring, as well as an enhanced sleep tracking function that monitors sleep. This really helped me know how to get better sleep especially during the stressful months of exams.
The perfect workout companion, Mi Smart Band 6 provides 14 days of battery life and a handy magnetic port for quick clip-on and clip-off charging. Certified to 5 ATM water resistance, Mi Smart Band 6 can be worn when swimming, snorkelling, and even showering. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, I was unable to go for a dip in the pool. Do let me know if you tried it in the comments below though!
MI Smart Band 6 comes in 6 vibrant colours and is available online at Xiaomi’s official store on Lazada, Shopee and offline at Authorised Mi Stores and other official retailers in Singapore for S$65.
