Fujifilm Launches Compact X-S10 Mirrorless Camera

Fujifilm Singapore has announced the launch of the Fujifilm X-S10 compact mirrorless camera in Singapore, which is now available for pre-order.

The X-S10 starts a new model family for Fujifilm and is not, as many assume, the replacement camera for the X-T30, and contains a blend of technologies from Fujifilm’s professional X-T4 and X-H1 cameras, with features including a 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor, X-Processor 4 high-speed image processor, and In-Body Image Stabilisation (IBIS), the X-S10 offers excellent imaging and video functionality in a compact, lightweight body.

Photographers will love the popular AUTO/SP (Scene Position) Mode that automatically adjusts camera settings to produce stunning images without the need to make fine adjustments to images settings, while the X-S10 is the first Fujifilm mid-range X-series camera to gain five-axis image stabalisation. A large, ergonomic magnesium-alloy grip makes it easier to keep the camera stable when larger lenses are mounted, while the brilliant Film Simulation modes feature 18 modes, including ETERNA Bleach Bypass, which creates a beautiful, desaturated, high-contrast look.

The combination of X-S10’s high-speed AF and AF-tracking performance with  2.16 million phase detection pixels provides quick and accurate autofocus results, while high-precision Tracking AF for moving subjects and Face / Eye AF function to track a subject’s face and eyes. Blackout-free high-speed burst shooting of 8fps in the mechanical shutter and 30fps in the electronic shutter

With an adjustable LCD monitor, selfie videos can be recorded 4K@30p 4:2:0 8-bit video onto an SD camera, and the S-X10 is also capable of high-speed full-HD recording at 240p, producing up to 10x slow-motion footage of a split-second motion of a fast-moving subject.

The Fujifilm X-S10 will be available in mid-November with a variety of lens kit options, and you can now place a pre-order.
