Epson recently announced the new WorkForce Pro WF-C579R business printer, a high-yield colour A4 inkjet printer that offers low printing costs in colour while delivering outstanding print performance as a compact network printer.

The newest addition to Epson’s Replaceable Ink Pack System (RIPS) printer line-up, the WF-C579R, comes with high-capacity ink packs that yields up to 50,000 pages in black or up to 20,000 pages in colour, helping to minimise printer downtime for improved cost and time savings.
Powered by Epson’s proprietary PrecisionCore technology, the WF-C579R has a fast print speed of up to 24ipm, offering a first page-out time of 5.3 seconds in colour with no warm up time required. Productivity is enhanced with a maximum monthly duty cycle of 50,000 pages. The WF-C579R is also more environmentally friendly, with a reduced power consumption as well as the use of less consumables compared to laser printers.
The WF-C579R is designed to provide significantly greater paper capacity in a smaller footprint, supporting a maximum of up to 1,330 pages when equipped with the optional 500-page paper cassette tray. It also offers automatic duplex printing and scanning as well as copy and fax with an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).
The WF-C579R is suited for business with its DURABrite Ultra pigment ink, which delivers laser-like quality prints that are water-resistant, fade-resistant and smudge-resistant.
The WF-C579R is also compatible with Epson Device Admin, Epson’s fleet management software, and Epson Print Admin – Epson’s print management software. The print management software helps businesses enhance output security, track printing costs and improve workflow. It includes security features like device authentication through passwords, PIN codes and card readers as well as secure job release from any registered printer.
