FUJIFILM announces 4th-gen X-T3 mirrorless digital camera

FUJIFILM joins the mirrorless trend this time of year, and while you’re spoilt for choice with the offerings from the other big guns, this one probably takes the cake.

The 4th-generation X-T3 will be the world’s first APS-C mirrorless camera, which features the new X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 image-processing engine.

The combination of these two powerful tools allows the holder of the new X-T3 to enjoy high image quality of 26.1MP, 1.5 times faster AF processing speed, up to 30 fps blackout-free continuous shooting, extreme 4K/60P 10 bit recording with its with one-of-a-kind Film Simulation Mode, and loads more.

FUJIFILM X-T3

Say hello to the “Color Chrome Effect,” which has escaped the shackles of the FUJIFILM GFX50S and joined the X Series for the first time ever. We already know how the effect produces deeper colors and gradation in subjects with highly saturated shades, but now you can apply it in continuous shooting too.

You’ll also find that the all-new Sports Finder Mode allows you to check the movements of a subject just outside the shooting frame and benefit with the ultra short blackout time. And if you’re slow on the trigger, the X-T3 has a new Pre-Shoot function, which gets the camera shooting the moment you half-press the shutter button.

Functionality aside, the new release will carry a traditional film camera outlook that photographers will love – from the positioning of dials on the top panel, to the central viewfinder style and excellent grip design.

As with all new camera drops, the X-T3 launch comes with optional accessories like the vertical battery grip, hand grip, leather case, cover kits and remote shutter release.

Price and availability of the FUJIFILM X-T3 will be released soon. For updates on the camera’s launch, visit the official website.
