Renowned Bloodborne and Demon’s Souls developer FromSoftware collaborates with Activision Publishing, Inc. to bring Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, a fantastical, dark, and twisted new gameplay experience set in the world of late 1500s Sengoku Japan. Amidst the chaos of this brutal and bloody period, tensions rise, and a compelling new story unfolds.
The game was first teased last December, and properly revealed at this year’s E3 2018, along with Deracine, also from the same studio. It swaps out European high fantasy and knights for Japanese fantasy and ninjas, but fans of Bloodborne will find it has much of the same roots. And it’s rumoured that the trailer itself holds hints towards Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Bloodborne being in the same universe.
