The Hover Camera Passport Drone is a self-flying drone designed to make it easy for us to take spectacular photographs. Self-indulgent? Perhaps, but that doesn’t make it any less fun. Jean finds out for herself how surprisingly enjoyable it can be.
“This is the first time I’m using a drone so I was actually quite afraid of damaging it. But it turned out to be rather easy to use. I just have to download the app and it shows me how to use it. The controls are very basic and it was able to recognise my face and follow me around. Plus its rather light so I don’t mind bringing it out for vlogging or to take photos and videos that are a bit different from the usual. I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable the experience was. Actually, I would bring this along on my travels as I know I will want to use it for really wide angle shots. Unfortunately, the battery life is really short, but I’d still take this over a heavier drone with longer battery life.” – @sunshinefix
