Looking to throw a party? Check out Sony’s new High Power home audio systems. The are three “all-in-one box” style models: The MHC-V81D, MHC-V71D and MHC-V41D, and two 3-box models, the MHC-M60D and MHC-M40D.
Party In A box
The one-box-style systems are able to spread loud and powerful sound around the room, thanks to an integrated spread sound generator. The MHC-V81D and MHC-71D are equipped with Live Sound for higher quality music output. They also have flashy 360˚ party lights that illuminate the room, making the perfect party atmosphere. There’s no need to leave your living room to party as these bring all the essentials of a club to you (without the unsanitary bathrooms and puke).
You can also show off some of your guitar skills with a new guitar input mode. This generates guitar overdrive sound effects without the use of a professional guitar amplifier. Plug your bass guitar into the system to boost the bass and produce awesome sounds. Always wanted to be a DJ? You can do that too with gesture controls that let you create fire mixes with the wave of a hand.
There’s even a new Taiko mode, which lets you use your audio system like a Japanese drum. Add your own twist to your favourite songs by tapping the touch panel and enjoying the sounds of a variety of drum samplers, or tap to the rhythm and compete with your friends for the highest score. In the spirit of competition, you can also challenge your friends to see who can party most to win the “Party King” title for all the bragging rights.
And Then There Were Three
Sony has also developed two new 3-box models, the MHC-M60D and MHC-M40D. Fill your living room with wide stereo sound for both your day to day audio needs and weekend house parties. High power amplifiers provide an impressive level of sound pressure. Finally, a main unit light will liven up any party with a clubhouse atmosphere. Enjoy your music from any source, with CD, DVD, HDMI OUT (ARC), USB, Bluetooth, as well as mic & guitar input.
The all-in-one box models and 3-box models will be available in Singapore from mid-2018 onwards.
