Samsung has unveiled one of its most ambitious Galaxy launches yet, introducing three new foldable smartphones alongside two next-generation smartwatches. Together, the new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 showcase Samsung’s vision of AI-powered mobile experiences that adapt to different lifestyles instead of offering a one-size-fits-all approach.
Rather than simply refining hardware, Samsung has focused on creating devices tailored for distinct users—whether they’re creators, productivity enthusiasts, everyday multitaskers or fitness-focused adventurers.
Three Foldables, Three Different Experiences
For the first time, Samsung’s foldable family offers three clearly differentiated devices.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra sits at the top of the lineup, designed for users who want laptop-like productivity and professional-grade content creation in their pocket.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 focuses on immersive entertainment and everyday multitasking, while the Galaxy Z Flip8 continues to champion style, portability and quick AI interactions through its enhanced FlexWindow cover display.

Samsung says the trio reflects years of consumer insights, recognising that different users expect different experiences from foldable devices.
Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra: Built for Creators
Leading the range is the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Samsung’s most advanced foldable to date.

Opening into a large 8-inch display, the device is aimed squarely at professionals and creators who need extra workspace for multitasking. Despite the larger screen, Samsung says it’s its slimmest Fold ever at just 4.1mm when unfolded while weighing only 215g.
Photography also receives a major upgrade. The Fold8 Ultra features:
● 200MP main camera
● New 50MP ultra-wide camera
● Improved Nightography
● 8K recording using Samsung’s new APV codec
● Cine LUT support for cinematic colour grading
Power comes from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, backed by a larger 5,000mAh battery, faster 45W charging and an upgraded cooling system designed for sustained AI workloads and heavy multitasking.
Galaxy Z Fold8: Lighter, Brighter and More Immersive
The standard Galaxy Z Fold8 has also been redesigned with a greater emphasis on everyday usability.

At just 201g, it becomes Samsung’s lightest Fold yet while retaining a large foldable display for reading, gaming and video. A new Flex Titanium display structure helps make the phone thinner while improving durability and reducing visible creases over time. The display also reaches up to 3,000 nits of brightness for improved outdoor visibility.

Samsung has equipped the Fold8 with dual 50MP rear cameras, Dual Recording for capturing both photographer and subject simultaneously, and My FanCam, which automatically reframes moving subjects into social-media-friendly videos.
Galaxy Z Flip8 Brings AI to the Cover Screen
For users who prioritise portability and personality, Samsung’s answer is the Galaxy Z Flip8.

The new model weighs just 180g and measures only 6.1mm thick, making it Samsung’s slimmest Flip yet. Much of the experience centres around the redesigned FlexWindow, which now acts as an AI-powered interface capable of surfacing contextual information through Now Brief, launching Gemini Intelligence functions and allowing users to complete tasks without opening the phone.

Samsung also continues to build on the Flip’s unique camera experience with hands-free shooting, cover-screen selfies and flexible shooting angles that encourage more creative photography.
Smarter Health Starts at the Wrist
Alongside the new phones comes Samsung’s latest smartwatch lineup.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 targets outdoor adventurers and endurance athletes.

The Galaxy Watch9 focuses on everyday wellness and continuous health monitoring. Both introduce Samsung’s latest AI-driven health platform, designed to transform biometric data into practical daily guidance.

The flagship Watch Ultra2 introduces specialised outdoor features including Trail Run tracking, Nutrition Alert hydration guidance and professional diving support developed in partnership with Mares. Divers can automatically track depth, dive time and water temperature directly from the wrist, with more advanced dive features arriving later this year.
Hardware has also been significantly upgraded, featuring:
● 800mAh battery (35% larger than before)
● Snapdragon Wear Elite Platform
● Samsung’s first 5,000-nit smartwatch display
● Slimmer titanium construction for improved comfort
