Singapore has already stepped into the World Cup mood this June. Co-presented by HYPEBEAST and Resorts World Sentosa, Hypebeast Cup 2026 Singapore is now taking place at WEAVE, Resorts World Sentosa. This football-themed pop-up brings together football culture, streetwear, interactive games, social photo moments and tech experiences, allowing me to truly take part in the atmosphere rather than simply observe it.

Walking into the venue, the football elements were immediately clear. At the entrance, visitors could pick up an event scarf and customise it at the DIY area. I saw many people tying the scarf around their heads, attaching it to their bags, or using it as part of their outfit. It was a small detail, but it helped set the mood from the moment I entered.
Around the venue, there were also multiple football-themed installations, gaming areas, drink booths and DJ music, making the whole space feel more like a football weekend gathering with a strong street culture touch.

Among the different zones, the Lenovo booth was one of the most interactive areas on site. Compared with a traditional product showcase, Lenovo combined football challenges with tech experiences to create an interactive space where visitors could actually “step onto the pitch”.

Visitors could register on site to take part in the football shooting challenge, complete their shots through the setup and large screen, and have their scores recorded by the system. For me, it was not just a photo spot, but more like a small football challenge that I could personally take part in. Especially within a World Cup-themed event, this kind of hands-on interaction made the experience feel much more engaging.

The prize for Lenovo’s football challenge was also a major highlight. The participant with the highest score will have the chance to win a Lenovo Legion Pro 7i FIFA Edition laptop. This gave the challenge a real sense of competition, instead of being just a quick activity to try once and move on. From the shooting action and score display to the devices showcased within the booth, the experience connected the World Cup atmosphere with Lenovo’s tech identity in a very natural way.

Manchester United legend Dimitar Berbatov also appeared at the event and took part in the Lenovo booth experience. He posed for photos in the booth area and tried the football shooting challenge himself, making the Lenovo zone one of the most popular spots of the day.
As a football fan, seeing a professional player complete the same interactive challenge made the whole experience feel even more special. I was not just watching a football star on a screen; I was in the same space, taking part in my own football challenge in a similar setting.

There was also an AI photo generation experience at the Lenovo booth. Visitors simply had to face the camera for a photo, and the system would generate a cartoon-style image of them on a FIFA football pitch. I tried this experience myself, and the final image was very suitable for sharing on social media. This kind of digital and personalised content creation gave me a unique World Cup-themed memory of the event. For Hypebeast Cup, Lenovo brought together football challenges, AI generation, gaming elements and tech experiences in one booth, making it one of the areas where I spent the most time.
The guest lineup was another highlight of the event. On the day, Dimitar Berbatov also joined an interview session and interacted with guests on site.

I was lucky enough to take a photo with him and even got his autograph on my Manchester United jersey. As a football fan, that was definitely one of the most memorable moments of the day.

I also met Sunny Wang and Dizzy Dizzo at the event, which added even more star power and social energy to the whole experience.

After exploring the full venue, I felt that Hypebeast Cup 2026 Singapore was more than just a football-themed pop-up. Visitors can DIY, take photos, enjoy drinks, play games, and also experience Lenovo’s football challenge and AI photo generation. It brings football culture, lifestyle and technology into one shared space, making it a great stop for football fans, as well as anyone looking for something different to do in Singapore this July.

Hypebeast Cup 2026 Singapore
